Light period after miscarriage?

Just wanted some advice. I had a miscarriage end of July had a week of bleeding then roughly two weeks of brown stuff, this ended mon 21st. I've now had some blood today but not a lot and has turned brown again now.
Everything I have googled said you should have 20 days free of bleeding/spotting between miscarriage for it to be your period.
I've not quite been 2 weeks and panicking now that something is wrong, obviously as usual always happens at the weekend when you can't phone any health professionals for advice.

Did you have bloods or a scan to check everything had cleared? xx

No bloods or scan, told me to get bfn on preg test. Which I did on a cheapie test on 23rd wasn't a very sensitive test though.
Think i'll phone doctors or EPAC on Monday and see what they say.
I spoke to them after, pretty sure there's no leftovers, they just said period will be 4-6 weeks I assume from start of miscarriage, didn't say you shouldn't bleed for 20 days for it to be classed as your period.
Just worrying as we have been DTD still

Hi yes I took preg test on Saturday night, it was negative. But bleeding got heavier sunday so taking this as my first period after miscarriage. Thanks for the replies

Pretty sure it's just my first period since mc. Was abit lighter than usual but does say it wouldn't be like your normal Af.
So onwards to this month. At least I now have a date to go from.

Sorry about the MC. I had the same around that time too. I never had 20 days without bleeding but had bloods done and HCG decrease monitored. I had a period type bleed along with a hormone explosion of anger and spots all over my face (about 10x worse than normal) also did ovulation tests which add up that was my period.

Not every one is the same unfortunately so it's very difficult. I would just count it as AF and see where you go.
