first period after miscarriage

Hi all, im back after a little break, i was here before maybe some of you lovely people will remember me and my troubles a little while back.

Well i had my first period after my miscarriage it started 9/12 was very light for a week then very heavy for 3 days just finished completely yesterday 19/12.

Now im confused as to my ovulation dates, arghhh why does it have to be so complicated??

Hi Fran...
Not sure I can offer much advise, as I am puzzled myself about ovulation after mc! It is a good sign you have had your first af, ovulation usually occurs about 12-14 days after your af. However after a mc things can be a bit unpredicatable!
I have been ttc since my mc on 13th oct, so far unsuccessful. Have had two af's since mc. My first was lighter than usual, but lasted the same 4 days. My second af started very light, and then became quite heavy, but still lasted the usual 4 days.
Some people dont ovulate for a few months after a mc. Some people ovulate straight away. It all depends on how your body reacts.
You could try ovulation tests, though I didnt find them very helpful but loads of ladies do.

it may take a couple of cycles for your periods to get back to normal, i had a 9 day bleed then next cycle just 4 days? its soo frustrating lol

yeh it's frustrating i just feel like everyone is getting pregnant but me i know its still so early since my loss but i want this soooo much
