LH surge testing

Hi

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3 months and have recently bought an ovulation predictor test.

I have been following the kit instructions but am now confused. My cycle ranges from 28-35 days, so I started testing at day 11. On wednesday (day 16) I had a faint line, on thursday (day 17) the line was darker but still not as dark as the control line and today (day 18) its totally negative again. has anyone else had similar results and can anyone advise me how to interpret this??

Also any tips???

Hi, what time of day do you test? I think late afternoon is best. Or the surge may have came during the night. As long as you BD enough around that time it should be enough. Good luck

usually test around 4-6pm depending on when i finish work.

here's hoping we're successful!
