Labour sign spotting

As im normaly moaning i thought i would write something positive today.

Apart from having a banging headache, feeling sick and tired today im in a good mood. I think the baby is finaly dropping into my pelvis a bit more, there seems to be more pressure down there. My spd is killing me today.

Yesterday evening i had what im guessing was a very painful BH i had to stop what i was doing and breathe through the pain while walking around. (It was quite funny really and i was all excited). Ive been having period pains all night and had to keep getting up to walk around.

I dont for one minute think labour is going to happen anytime soon but its some progress that my body is preparing itself.

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

How is everyone else today?

sick as a dog, tired, achey and fed up.

Fed up with being pregnant now- I can't do anything without being knackered at the end of it. I'm nocturnal because I have to sleep in the day when OH is at work 'cos I can't get comfy with him in bed anymore. Since I fell down the stairs my back has been playing up and today it's pretty unbearable!

I don't care how much it hurts- I just want her out!

Am going to try and convince midwife to give me a sweep at my next appt- I'll be 39 weeks so cant see the harm

Well my labour spotting is....
Loads of mucus since Thursday.
Yesterday i was so tired I could hardly keep my eyes open all day. Me and OH had the best relaxing day though spent the day watching DVD's and doing generally nothing. I did 'joke' last night about the calm before the storm. I had a great night's sleep last night and didn't even wake up for a wee as usual during the night!!
Got up at 7am for a wee and was bleeding! Since being sent home from hospital I am bleeding slightly, getting tightenings and feel generally rough!

I also had a brilliant night's sleep last night for the first time in AGES and it's amazing how much better I feel :cheer:

Judy, sounds like you're joining the Braxton-Hicks club of doom!!! You could pop before me yet hun!

I'm HAVING ONE NOW aaaaaah the irony. Have also started to get sever period-like pains in the last few days and suspect that Conifold has engaged more.

Not long for me - I reckon she'll be here by this time next week

I don't feel half as bad as I have done. Bit of a headache but not too bad.

I had a semi energy/nesting burst this morning. But now after doing some hoovering and dusting I feel knackered and my back hurts.

Have had increased knicker snot over the last few days :puke:

Well no signs of labour at the mo. I think bubs is deffo engaging again as I cant walk properly....if he stays there is another question but hes got the right idea :D

I have more pluggy stuff coming out....Im sure it must've re-sealed from when I had that show at 30 weeks  oh the joys I get to experience it twice

I woke up feel sicky and had headache

bad nights sleep, a few bh and a few period pains but nowt to write home about

just feeling fed up as well, wanting her out but then scared of the pain and the sleepless nights to come ....my mum is due up to see me on thursday so im focusing on that x

so hows everyones spotting going?

Sounds like Sazzy is well on her way, what with her pulling her own plug out this morning :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ive had clear outs and pains but nothing else. Pain isnt regular either. Im supposed to be resting but might go for a little walk around the park  its such a nice day :D

Well girls I am feeling utter CACK today

Have spent all day so far in tears and didn't even feel like coming on PF which is SOOOO not like me.

Went for a walk down the river with the cats last nigth and started to develop bad backache in the lower back all over - which gradually gave way to painful contractions 10-15 minutes apart which woohoo I've managed to have ALL NIGHT so I'm completely knackered.

I'm so tired and miserable and fed up and I don't even know why I'm crying.

Sorry about the rant.

Well, I *think* I'm starting to get some signs of something happening but not sure. My heartburn has eased loads so I'm guessing bubs has dropped right down. My lower back is absolutely killing me and its really painful to walk. I think I had a couple of really strong BH's earlier, so bad I started to panic that it was the start of something and had to breathe through them, but I've only had little niggles since.

there are no signs whatsoever going on here..

i quite fancy the idea of going for a wander while the sun in shining but im a bit scared cos baby still isn't engaged yet and im a wee bit frightened that my waters might go and i wont get to the hospital on time.

Aww Bex
I know how you feel, I just want to scream, totally out of character for me. These last few weeks are defo the worst and they seem to be dragging so much.

But the finish post is in sight, we're nearly there.

I'm not normally good at cheering people up but just keep focussed on meeting that little bubs and you'll be fine. Its not long now!! :cheer:

Only 'signs' as such I have are really bad lower backache and walking is extremely painful. I'm building bedroom furniture today and we finally got the moses basket today, so baby is welcome to arrive once the bedrrom is done!!

A few of us seem to be having lower back pains and trouble walking. Does anyone know if that actually means labour could be imminent? I definitely feel as though something could happen soon. If it doesn't I don't know if I can cope with another 3+ weeks of this!

Are you still getting the contractions? I hope they either become more regular, or bugger off and let you get some rest

I've had lower back ache for weeks. Given up on it being a sign now. Starting to think about going overdue now, have given up on baby being early

I don't have much idea of what the signs are leading upto the big day. I went overdue with both mine and had sweeps whcih brought the labour on same day!

Labour spotting today

Mucusy blood, mucusy blood and more mucousy blood.
Horrible pains in back and tummy and feel like crap

:wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Same here, I feel like a first timer again. I went overdue with Sean and ended up being induced so have no idea about what signs to look out for.
