God I hate arguing with them

Basically I was told the other day that my brother had threatened somebody with a kitchen knife and stole their money (He has a form of autism so please dont think he's a pyscho or anything, he doesnt know what he's doing half the time!). So I told them and they dont believe its true

He gives them so much shit, he goes out of the house at 7am even though he's meant to go to college and he just gets different buses all day then usually in the early hours of the morning the police find him in a bus station or whatever and bring him home.

Half of me wants to give him a slap and tell him to stop giving them a hard time and the other half of me wants to tell my parents to start being tougher on him :wall:

Aww lady, I'm sorry to hear this! You have every right, you are looking out for him, your parents should see this!

is there any way he can be seen by a specialist, someone who actually specialises in autistic people so he can recieve the help and advice he needs to be able to straighten up and change his ways?

Im not sure hun, my Dad just sticks up for him all the time and my Mum has only just been told he has aspergers (after 19 years of no diagnosis  ) so she hasnt really had the chance to speak to anyone yet.

Im going to look into it myself cos he need sorting out :x

I would suggest a specialist too, your brother might really appreciate someone who knows how he thinks and feels. It's a shame your parents are still in denial a bit with him though, it might do him a lot of good.
