Just read this post! I hope it goes well with the scan hun. With my last pregnancy I fell over at 8 weeks, and like you had the midwife appointment the next day. She managed to get me an appointment for an early scan, and I saw my little bean, which she dated at 6 weeks. Her heart had just started beating. It definitely calmed me down, so Im sure it will be of reassurance to you, good luck! And post the scan pic, we love seeing them!

this is why i hate NHS direct coz i had a heavy bleed at 19 weeks and i rang them..they never rang me back and as you said the guy was more interested in where i was etc...it was uselessi just went to the hospital in the end!!
i had a heavy bleed late on and it was fine hun..just changes in my cervix hope everythings ok for you

Just read this post - I hope everything went ok.
I'm 12 weeks 5 days and had scan last friday - everything fine so starting telling people over the weekend. Then Sunday night I went to the toilet and discovered I was bleeding.
I can't describe how I felt. I rang my maternity hospital and they told me that as there was no pain she was sure I was ok. She made an appoitment for me at the Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic for 8 30 the next morning (which considering this .
was 1.00am I was very impressed!) Instead of a scan they checked for a heartbeat and it was so amazing to hear it for the first time. Apparently it is very normal to lose some blood and as long as there is no pain, it should be ok - but that doesn't stop the worry
Bleeding has stopped just a little brown discharge when I wipe.
I hope your story has a happy endning
