I had brown blood when I wiped from about 7 weeks pregnant till about 10 weeks pregnant. I was worried sick but I went for an 8 week scan and everything was fine and the doc said that some people do have unexplained bleeding and if it is brown it means it is old blood and is usually nothing to worry about.

Thanks everyone

Well I saw the doctor this morning rather than waiting for my midwife appointment and he's sending me for a scan tomorrow at 12. He wanted to get me in today but they have no appointments left, not that he was extremely worried but because he knows it would make me feel alot better the sooner I have a scan.

Anyway, we came home and decided to still go to mw appointment but we got there and explained the situation and she said she didnt want to do the booking in til Ive had my scan cos if she goes through everything today then tomorrow brings bad news it'll be upsetting for me. She's re-booked it for a weeks time, obviously tomorrow will determine whether I need it or not.

The spotting has stopped now, little bits now and then but hardly anything. Having a few uncomfortable twinges though and I dunno if they're normal or not. My symptoms are still really strong though so thats sort of reassuring.

I just hope the scan tomorrow is good news, I've just got a vision in my mind of them saying they cant find the heartbeat and if they do it will honestly tear me to pieces. Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see.
