***June 2018 Mums***

I got mine through NHS so didn't cost anything. Just told them about the miscarriage and they offered it. Worth a try phoning and asking for one from the healthboard.

Exactly what happened to me.. It was my first appt with the GP.. as soon as I mentioned misc... I'm to scared to even say it 😔.. I was sent for a scan that afternoon.. and was not very reassuring and told me not to put my hopes up 🤷🏻*♀️😭.. that's it .. told me if all is ok, to book another appt with the gp.

That's good, I will speak to my dr and see if I can do the same, thank you :)

The person who did your scan sounds terrible and not a person who should be doing reassurance scans! Hopefully your GP can refer you back for another one in a couple of weeks to actually give you reassurance?

Figured out what's going on- I'm supposed to go to the booking appointment at the hospital on Tuesday 31st. The one for the previous Monday was going to just be information which would be passed on to the hospital - so confusing but I now have one appt and a few hours off work haha!

When are you all telling your work?

I started my new job with the council today.
My scans and appts are in a fortnight but need to provide my letters for my special leave to be granted. So have no choice but to tell them. Would have preferred to wait.

I’ve told a close friend at work but that’s it. My boss is pretty open with appointments so she’s happy with my midwife one. I’ll probably tell my boss just before my scan and then everyone else just after the scan before I put it on Facebook!

I got my BFP yesterday, I’ve calculated my due date as roughly the 13th June however I do have crazy cycles so I’m not actually sure how accurate that is! Hope you’re all well.

Congratulations Rhfiasco!

Any one else getting like dull achy cramps? I think (I hope) I’m getting them due to sorry for too much info...constipation! :(

I had them lots in the week leading up to finding out and in week 4, a bit less in week 5. I'm middle of week 6 now and they've mostly gone bar the odd twinges. Feelinng sick all day every day though!!

Ahh noo! I am 4 + 2 so that would make sense! I’ve got the sickness feeling in my throat but luckily not been sick yet!

Yeah, everything I have read and been told is that cramping is normal, just to get it checked out if it's really really bad pain! But I'm no expert, definitely don't feel like I have any clue what I'm doing! When I rang to sort a midwife appt I even said I didn't really know what I was doing so please help ahaha!

Haha I was the same! I’ve just booked my flu jab too!

I need to sort that too, husband has had his and he keeps pestering me to sort it!

Congratulations Rhfiasco!

Thanks !

I’m exactly the same, cramps in my pelvic area and my whole stomach feels like it’s constantly tightening .. like a clenched first almost?

Congrats Rhfiasco!

Ye cramps are totally normal unless they're really painful, mine were constant but now seem to come and go, I don't know if that's a good thing or not?

Oh yes I constantly feel like I’ve got a pot belly! The joy of baby bloat!

Hi Ladies, can I tentatively join you please? Due date is currently 17th June. I got my BFP today, and Ovia puts me at 4+3, although I suspect this is incorrect as I think ovulated late. I've had heartburn and weird stomach twinges for about a week (feels like someone blowing bubbles!) and today I had to unbutton my jeans in work, so I knew it was time to test. I'm feeling so scared and anxious right now, so it's lovely to read through this thread and know it's not just me.

Congratulations Gemstar! I know what you mean! But I keep telling myself that as long as I eat healthy, take my vitamins etc, everything else is out of my control!

Congratulations summerwine and welcome! You're definitely not alone I think we all feel the same way. Is this your first pregnancy?
