Thanks GG hopefully just a promising sign that sperm can make it to the egg! Feeling gutted yet relieved as can now move forward. Bleeding is very Brown as present and slow flow so not sure if that backs up theory but will see if flows normal over next couple days. Time to join the August thread me thinks!

Bleeding in early pregnancy is quite common so do another test after bleeding has stopped, just to be clear that it's negative and than you can be confident with where you stand. X

Going to see what tomorrow brings GG cos never been quite this light before. Had Brown discharge onto knickers when got back from 2 hour walk this afternoon. Put a pad on and in 6 hours haven't bled onto pad yet. 'Investigated and had brown/red on fingers so will see if this materialises into normal AF. May keep appointment on Wed if I'm still unsure after tomorrow. Talk about mind games. It's probably just a light one but got me wondering x

My normal periods are 3 days long. Starts first thing on day 1 and ends overnight on day 3. My two chemical pregnancies have meant that I have bled at different times. First one was at 5+4 I think and was just spotting, no clots, only when wiping and never enough to go onto a pad. It only lasted 36 hours but it was an mc. The second was earlier bleeding but I ovulated a week earlier so same gestation and again, less than 48 hours bleeding. Noticed a few clots this time but still only spotting, not going on pads and very small clots only seen on urination.

So...you can easily lose an early pregnancy and just think your period is a bit odd. On top of that, you can have all sorts of bleeding in early pregnancy and still be pregnant so annoying as it is, sometimes, we just do need to wait and see. Xx

Well final update...bleeding turned fairly normal for period today. Pretty convinced it was an early failed egg hence the delay in AF and in it being proper bleeding when it did arrive. I'll be jumping back on board the other half and then jumping on board the Sept thread as I won't be testing now until early Sept with the delay. Fingers crossed and baby dust to everyone now testing in August x

Thanks Laura and GG. Have managed to pull myself back to positivity after being very low last week. I think pre period hormones had kicked in more than I had realised. And at least we are only 2 cycles in so the thought of plenty of BD is still a nice novelty! Xx

Absolutely, its a rollercoaster we all have ups and downs on here, best place to share it all as we all understand. Chances are it won't take many more cycles for you and fingers crossed we will all be pregnant before the end of the year if not sooner xxx

Oh gosh Salley, that's awful. I'm so sorry.

How are you doing? Did he give you any explanation or was it just a case of you not having a choice as his mind was made up? Just awful for you. Huge hugs xxx
