**** july mummies 2018 *****

Hi ladies! I still feel so nervous moving over here, I'm 13dpo (c. 4 weeks) and I got my BFP yesterday! I've had real trouble sleeping for the past 7-10 days, a constant headache, sore bbs, and lots of cm. today I feel a bit nauseous but I think it's just excitement and nerves!

ive been told I have to wait 3 weeks to see the midwife to confirm the pregnancy which feels like ages away!

Congratulations Katy on your BFP & welcome to July mummies we're getting big! xx

JemRose how did it go at your doc appointment hun? x

Went well thank you, they confirmed pregnancy on a urine dip. Worked out same dates I'd worked out from LMP. So I'm 3 weeks and 5 days, due 11th July 2018 :)

First booking appointment with midwife 4th December. Got to take extra folic acid as bloods a few weeks ago showed low folic acid. History of pre eclampsia in all my mums pregnancies so I have to take aspirin from 12 weeks onwards.

Just got to sit back and relax until December now. But had the whole "it's early, miscarriages are common" talk.. Not what I want to hear as worried anyway lol but it is reality xx

They said that to you? Strange. I don't see how there is a need to say something like this to a newly pregnant woman! Obviously we all know that and worry as it is. Strange.

Anyways glad they sort your tablets out for you x

I think they booked me in too early for my first appointment with a midwife, I will be 6 weeks and I read that it should be between 8-12 weeks. I think I will call and change it tomorrow x

I can't get over these lines at 15dpo, taken at 10pm on a 30 minute hold.

They're honestly keeping me sane. Each time I see they're a shade darker, the fear of losing this pregnancy takes a seat a little bit further back.

Hope you're all feeling well xxx

Those are such good lines GG!

My pharmacy only did one kind of test like your strip and my line is no where near that dark today at 14dpo! I'm trying not to freak out cos my other 2 were much darker but I know they were more sensitive tests...

No, don't freak out at all, the norm is a slow, gradual increase..mine are just bonkers, lol

Xxx

Yeah they did, not nice to hear even though I already know that's something that could happen. It was a man though lol x

My lines seem to stay the same. Only have one test buried away somewhere left to take and not allowed to take anymore! Think I'll leave it a couple days and take it x

Ah bless you. No, it's not what anyone wants to hear but I do think it's right to inform people as not everyone uses forums or educates themselves. With 70% of pregnancies not getting past the 5 week mark, it's a very real threat so understand why it would be said...however, it should be a brief mentiin and not doom and gloom as half the battle in ttc is staying relaxed and not getting stressed.

Ha, just saw it was a man! Dan read something last night saying men get a rough deal in pregnancy as they've all had heartburn, sickness, stomach upset etc. So they do know how it feels for us.

I said, "Is there any way that I could 100% know how it feels to get kicked in the balls"

Answer, "No, impossible because you don't have balls, you'll just never get it".

Me, "I love you, I love your support, but tell me ever again that men can understand what it's like to grow a baby and I'll kick you so hard in those balls that you'll actually end up with your own womb".

All said in jest of course, but point made. I'm lucky with Dan...he listens, he tries and he's always ready to help but after he questioned symptoms on one of the chemicals, I made a point to let him know every single time I felt something.

Haha GG!! If I was Dan, I'd be keeping quiet now lol!

PS. Have a look at our ticker... both say 4 weeks & 2 days but the count down is different!! x

Try not to worry. And I would only test and compare every 2nd day as the hormones double every 24hrs i think xx

GG that is hilarious!!! Love it! I think men get a rough end of the deal having to deal with our hormones. But the rest of it ... nope!!!

haha GG that's hilarious. I really hate the way men lack empathy

I was feeling a bit down yesterday about how I'd spent most of the morning rushing to the toilet with diarrhea and my husband responded with "I know I've been the same, worse I think, honestly I'm so rough can you look after me and do XYZ (some of his jobs) as you seem okay now?"... the bloody idiot had been out drinking Friday Saturday and Sunday! no wonder he was poorly, it's always a competition with my husband.. men (que eye roll)

Just wondering how everyone is doing symptom wise? I feel like I'm too early (3+6) to be feeling what I'm feeling and starting to wonder if my last period was really a period? Or if I'm just susceptible to strong symptoms (seeing as it's my first pregnancy, I've no idea what to expect).

Feeling nauseous during the day, trying to keep fluids up but even sipping water makes me feel sick.
Boobs have grown already (I'm a H cup anyway)! Sore on any little movement, such as walking etc.
Slight cramping.
Sooooo tired.
Fuzzy headed, feel lightheaded, feel not myself or not quite there. Forgetting things (forgot my pin number this morning).
Frequently urinating.

Does this sound normal for 3+6 weeks or do you think I could be further on? x

I think that's a lot of symptoms for 3+6 :)

My boobs are sorer which every passing day and I am mega bloated. Oh yeas the baby brain is kicking in also :D I am enjoying no nausea just now nut I know it will come sooner or later x

I got mine for 17th November and I think it makes me 7 weeks? I was like isn't that too early but she said they take between 6 to 10 here. My last one was at 10 weeks so many be its your docs? But change if you feel uncomfortable xx
