**** July 2014 Mummies ****

Yeah, im sure it is! I'm just a proper worrier! I'm going to be terrible when lentil is here!

K8tblue - I need to come and live near you if you can just knock up those types of things at short notice! Could just eat some freshly baked cookies! Yummy!!! xxxx

Well I doubled the mix so made 2 chocolate cakes 1 for FIL and one for an elderly neighbour who's not been very well and got her daughter coming over tomorrow, then made a lemon drizzle cake as that's father in laws fav but only he and I like it, am hoping I get to take some back home ;) and cookies I made for me and hubby to take to work as I keep forgetting.

I think I'm just on a mission to get everyone as round as I am :) x

Sounds yummy!!!! I've decided when I go on mat leave that I want to start baking so I may be coming for some tips xxx

I love lemon drizzle cake and want try making one so when we're on maternity leave we'll have to start a special baking thread with weekly recipies.

Sounds like a plan Coz! I still have to cover my cakes which I'll do in the morning but once I have I'll try to remember to take a picture :)

Night ladies xx

Ahhh I want cake! My friend made brownies earlier and sent me pics! So unfair, might see if she has any left tomorrow :)

Hate being awake at this hour :( damn pregnancy insomnia! Needed a wee and now been awake for a couple of hours! Doesn't help that baby is partying in my tummy. Ergh. Really can't get comfy :(

mmm brownies! Chocolate makes everything better! Being up in the night is the norm for me now, if its not the hip pain waking me up, its the bladder or the heartburn. Not enjoying pregnancy much now :(

Since kicking husband out to sleep in spare room I sleep so much better lol i still wake up 3-4 times to pee but find I get back to sleep easier without him in the bed and because I woke up naturally to pee, not because he disturbed me and then I realise I HAVE to pee now I'm up lol

I am not looking forward to the aches and pains getting worse though. My hips are already so achey and my back feels like it's going to snap some days. I really think people are sooo scared of labour but actually 9 months of aching, sickness and fatigue is far worse than a day or two of more intense pain lol

My belly is sore today - feels like it's stretching so guess that means I'm about to pop out again in the next few days!

Going to visit my parents and sister for a few days today. Im Jewish and it's Passover. I don't keep the religion religiously or anything but a few of the traditions I like to do as they are family based and I have never missed them before. Liam can't get time off because of all the time off for our London hospital appointments so I'm going to be at my parents alone for a few days. Looking forward to it but also HATE being away from Liam for 2/3 nights so will no doubt be on here a lot for company!

Sorry about the long post lol hope you all have a nice Sunday! X

Hey all how are you all doing, hope all is well I've been sooooo busy lately moving house, me and my partner lived with my mum but wanted our own place before baby arrived, never actually thought this would happen but we are now renting so we have our own space and baby has a room!! It's very exciting :-) and everything's slowly falling into place! Yesterday out of no where I seemed to have grown!! Bean seems to be going through a growth spurt and is a right little wriggler! I saw my midwife this week for the first time since the beginning of feb, everything seemed good, was measuring 2 weeks ahead but she said that's fine, and I'm 100% going ahead with a home birth :-D just got to wait for the home birthing midwifes to contact me so I can meet them and talk things through. I also have a 4d scan booked for April 30th which I'm very very excited about!

Last week I found out we are having a nephew (from my fiancés sister) and yesterday we found out we are having another nephew (from my fiancés sister in law) so lots of boys, already have 2 nephews and 1 niece on my fiancés side! No babies on my side, it's kind of exciting that I was the first to find out I was pregnant but I'm going to be the last to know what I'm having!

Oh and does anyone have any idea on what the girls at work can get me when I leave, they do a collection for baby and buy gifts for baby but as I'm team yellow it's making things hard as they don't know what to get me lol they keep telling me to write a list of things I want/need yet I can't think of anything!! Surely there's something the collection normally gets anything from £30-£50, any ideas on what I could suggest?

Mamas and papas do a neutral basket for newborns, has a baby grow, bunny, blanket etc in it :) it's very cute, and the basket could be used for nappies after? X

Ah yes I was initially disturbed by my daughter waking up, so not even a natural wake for a wee. But not much I can do about that bless her!

Congrats on the new place Kerryjo! We've had some good news on the flat we want so hopefully everything's going to start loving next week and we could be in there in the next 6-8 weeks! We're living with OH's parents with our one year old as it is so were desperate to get out before little man arrives! So exciting now :) looking forward to doing their room! Xx

Seems like a few rubbish nights last night!

I woke at 1am choking due to terrible reflux and then proceeded to be sick, on and off, until about 3am :(

I'm now exhausted and we have friends coming over for Sunday lunch and I can't be arsed!

xxxx

Hope all goes well with the flat it's the best feeling for sure! I'll keep everything crossed that all goes smoothly and time flys by so you can get in there, The hardest thing now though Is looking at the babies room when I walk past it, it makes me want baby here now and I'm not an impatient person in the slightest but seeing babies stuff sitting there waiting to be used makes it very hard

Coz - love the changer and dresser!

Phoebes mum - love the questions kids ask! My dd was asking how babies get in your belly!! She's 8 :p try explaining that without being too graphic! Lol xxx think I ended up saying something like when a mum and dad love each other lots and decide they want another baby, they have to give each other a special hug and wish very hard. Can't remember the exact words but I quickly changed the subject!

Coz - I now need lemon drizzle cake or my famous lemon lemon cello cake I make xx

Morning ladies, think I still have a few posts to catch up on from yesterday! Hope we all have a nice day! Xxxxx

Morning ladies, I've had blood this morning when I wiped. I keep checking but nothing since. Bump is still moving ok. Not sure if maybe I caught myself when I wiped. I'll keep an eye on it and if it happens again I'll ring someone.

Hello ladies... I hope you don't mind me joining you - am not a mummy (well I am but not to 'due' baby to me) but am going to be a granny in September.

I'm already a step-granny to a wonderful 3 year old and now my daughter is expecting on the 22nd September and.... my other step-daughter is due on the 8th of November .

I'm going to be my daughter's birth partner (she's 27) as the father is... well nuff said.

I'm more worried about her pregnancy than I every was about mine 27 years ago - not that there's nothing to worry about. Her down's test came back with a 1:10,000 odd rating, she's fine (being sick though - can emphathise but not sympathise as I never had sickness). Went to her 16 week appointment with her at the midwife and heard little Godzirra's heart for the first time (cried at that as I did at the scan) her 20 week scan is on the 8th of May so will be going to that too and am trying to persuade her to have a 4d scan - but she says she thinks that's a bit freaky.

Anyhooo - if you don't mind me dropping in from time to time and being an ole granny (52 yesterday) then that'd be lovely. If you do then I'll go back to lurking

Granny w off course we don't mind I'm expecting my first 21st July having a boy :) happy belated birthday congrats to your daughter I wanted a 4d scan but they are soon expensive up here xx

Coz hope everything is ok I had that yesterday turns out I cut myself shaving lol xx

Aw yeah keep an eye out but if your worried call someone...better to be safe xxx

I log on this morning and there are 5 pages!! I'll read it all later lol

So, kind of pregnancy related but....

My dog is either pregnant, or having a false pregnancy. I'm hoping it's a false one as that's all I need right now!! OH is not going to be happy when I tell him about this one, looks like it's an expensive vets bill to find out :-(

Jodge- As cute as pups would be it is a bit of bad timing, hope it is a phantom pregnancy. The dog we had when I was growing up used to have them, she'd pick a toy and carry it around every where and was forever cleaning it, it was the only time she'd get on my bed but she would almost lay on my head. Always knew when it was over because she would bury the toy afterwards, the only time she did any digging. Luckily so far my female dog now hasn't had one.

I've still not had anymore bleeding which is good. I haven't told dh because I'm trying to stay relaxed and calm and I think he'd panic and stress me out. If I get more I'll tell him. I have just made us pancakes for breakfast at his request and I don't want him feeling guilty that I stood there and did it, it was a nice distraction. I'm trying not to spend all my time on the toilet checking.
