**** July 2014 Mummies ****

My tummy has started moving like crazy the last week. Proper crazy baby movements. I keep feeling an elbow or a foot sticking out and can see my whole belly wobbling as the baby moves about in there. It's wonderful but also a little uncomfortable at times. Do wish I could control it sometimes, make it stop for a while at night lol

Thanks ladies I'm having a hard time with my partner where I'm always crying and arguing and he can't deal with it I just feel low ATM xxx

Hi Lauren, welcome to July mummies! Everyone is great on here and is really supportive. From the heat pad thing, I have used them as they don't go directly onto skin but I do prefer a hot water bottle! Backache eh, just one of the lovely side effects we all get from being up duffers! Hormones being the other. It is awful arguing with other halves, because they really don't understand as they cannot go through it. I don't even think a woman understands what its like until she has actually been through it herself. I can only speak for myself and what I have read on these forums but other halves do appear to save alot of their douchbagness up for when we are pregnant lol! Its as thought they are testing us!

Well, I'm Alex. I'm 25 from West Yorkshire. I've only been with my OH for 18 month (a year when I found out I was preggers) so it was a big shock but can completely agree with you when you say its like it was meant to happen. I had a long term relationship before meeting Scott and in no way ever wanted children, met Scott and knew that I wanted kids and marriage and the whole 9 yards. I did think he was pretty perfect until a couple of weeks ago when he admitted to a pretty bag gambling addiction (the aforementioned douchebagness) however he is getting things sorted and, apart from this, is pretty perfect and going to be a brill daddy!

Hope your enjoying PF!

I've not had a chance to catch up, you all chat too much!

What a difference it is working days, the people aren't complete tw**s for a start, sooo much happier :-D

Aww fab Jo, so glad your happier!

Ok, so I did post earlier but seems my ipod crashed before it saved it. I did say to lauren that I'm originally from just outside reading, my other 2 kids were born at the royal berks. They are 15 and 12 so feel like I'm doing this for the first time all over again.

Well I managed to get my harvester this afternoon, think dh felt a bit guilty over my lack of sleep and the fact he slept in this morning but not too guilty because he has yet again fallen asleep on the sofa as I type. He was going to put the drawers together for me but going for a nice sit down meal obviously was a bit much for him. Any one would think he was the pregnant one lol

No wonder he has a messed up sleep pattern and can't sleep on a night, he is always asleep through the day lol!

Oh Coz, kick him awake and tell him to to sort himself out haha ;-) glad you got your Harvester - I had a Greggs for lunch because I was craving doughnuts. Feel sooo sick still lol was worth it though!

Jo, soooo happy that working days is better for you babe :-)

My wonderful hubs took me shopping today and helped me pick out a load of summer clothes in New Look. Got loads of maxi dresses and baby doll style dresses that aren't even maternity so can wear after I'm less whale-like in a few months haha also got a few maternity vest tops just because I will eventually be far too big for my old ones to keep *just* covering my bump!

Really want a Harvester now lol *sigh*
Yeah if your OH will massage you that is! Mine suddenly gets 'sore hands' after two minutes and gives me a limp fingered stroke instead. It's terribly lame lol

Aww, I'm jealous of your shopping spree! One of my fave past times!

Been out for mums birthday this evening before work! Put my £3 maternity dress from ebay (Dorothy Perkins) on and thought I'd show off my bump lol!

P.S. I've loved reading about everyone, realised that I don't actually know some people's real names lol!

Question??? The other night, the night when I had an incident at work, lentil was very active. More than she has been the last couple of nights! Do you think that's worrying for me? Or, because I had alot of adrenaline from the incident this could have made her more active???

It's finished!! Think dh was more excited about it than he was letting on because he's put bumps clothes in it already. 0-3 months we have 8 vests and 6 sleep suits. I tried suggesting this wasn't enough but have been told to wait and see what his family has bought. Not sure I want to leave it to chance but we'll see.

As we're doing intros, I'm Elaine, I'm 31. This is our 2nd baby. We've been trying for this baby for 2 years and had just started looking into fertility treatment when I fell pregnant naturally. Our DD, Phoebe is 3 and 5 months. Nice gap really as she keeps talking to my tummy and sort of understands but did recently ask me how she got out of my tummy, to which I replied, 'it's a bit like magic' and she didn't ask any more!!

Phoebe was born via emergency C-section after being induced at 42 weeks and pushing for 2 and half hours and not getting anywhere, even though I'm not meant to push for more than an hour due to having chemo when I was little and this weakening the heart. So due to all that I'm opting for an elective this time.

I live near Tunbridge Wells with DH and DD. We've just put our 2 bed on the market! xxx

Love it and really want your changing mat!! Already bought 2 though! xx

Fos, it's fine hun. Adrenaline will definitely make baby go mad but also you are further along than me and I get minutes/hours where pip goes mad so sure yours is just as normal as mine! Hehe

Yeah, its just because she was so active, I'm back to the t'old worrying of her not being as active now! They should prescribe bloody ultrasound machines for us to use, just to heck they are ok. I worry myself bloody stupid for no reason! xxx

Fos am loving the bump!!

I am completely shattered after working all day then my mum came over for dinner unexpectedly and so had to cook something proper rather than the pizza I was gonna get hubby to whack in the oven, then I had 2 cakes and 2 batches of cookies to bake for FIL birthday tomorrow which are finally finished!! Think I might actually sleep through tonight x

Fos- I'm sure baby having a mad 5 mins is fine. I hope it is because bump has them every now and then. I love it when he's like that though.

Phoebes mum- I couldn't help myself with the change mat. And for once dh loved my taste lol Can't go wrong with a bit of Disney.

Yeah, im sure it is! I'm just a proper worrier! I'm going to be terrible when lentil is here!

K8tblue - I need to come and live near you if you can just knock up those types of things at short notice! Could just eat some freshly baked cookies! Yummy!!! xxxx

Coz - I'm serious, I'm now googling 101 Dalmatian nurseries!! http://www.disneybaby.com/products/101-dalmatians-5-piece-crib-bedding-set/

That is so cool!! Just showed dh and he loves it too. Might see if we can get it lol

Yup I'm wondering when my relatives in the US are next over..... Very expensive on ebay!!

See what you mean, dh started off with saying it's not a bad price until he saw how much postage was.

Well I doubled the mix so made 2 chocolate cakes 1 for FIL and one for an elderly neighbour who's not been very well and got her daughter coming over tomorrow, then made a lemon drizzle cake as that's father in laws fav but only he and I like it, am hoping I get to take some back home ;) and cookies I made for me and hubby to take to work as I keep forgetting.

I think I'm just on a mission to get everyone as round as I am :) x

Phoebes mum - think I'm going to go to bluewater by myself. I don't live near any relatives and hubby can't get the day off work. On a positive note - he can't tell me off for buying things if he isn't here and after all a bargain is a bargain!!xx

Hey ladies! Lots of catch up on again! :D I'm back from the wedding I was shooting today- I'm exhausted and back is killing, but the support belt got me through the hard part and so so thankful my hubby was there and was a super star at being my assistant!

Hope you've all had a good day- sorry I'm going to be super rubbish, and though I have read the last 6/7 pages, I have now totally spaced other than to say hello Lauren! :) I'm Clare, 25 and live in Bromley, Kent. I've been married for 18months but with my husband for 11years come this September! This is our first baby due 5th July, and the first in our circle of friends, so find it a great comfort to catch up and chat to everyone here :) I have a blood condition, so am classed as medium risk at the moment, so know I won't get the exact labour I want, but trying to keep pretty close and doing a mix of yoga/hypno birthing, which seems fairly popular with the ladies here :)

Bed time for me! So glad it was my last wedding before baby! X
