**** July 2014 Mummies ****

Congratulations both on finding out what your little bundles are!

It's so exciting, I don't know how anybody can hold out, I'm far too impatient.

We are team BLUE!! Xx

Hey ladies. We're having a baby girl 👶👶👶💕💕💕 everything's healthy just in shock as convinced it was a boy!! So excited and just bought a daddy's little princess baby grow. It all feels real now. The DVD didn't record though so they offered me a free rescan in 2 weeks to record the DVD. So I get to see my little chunky monkey again in 2 weeks and the week after is my Nhs 20 week scan :) took my mum tonight n will take oh mum to rescan. Made my mums day :) xxxx

Did they show you the three little lines? They showed us and gave us about 5 shots of it in the online photo album but I'm still not convinced. haha. I was also convinced it was another boy.

Sorry to hijack your post, but the fear they got it wrong crept in with me so I googled ultrasound pics of girls/boys at 17 weeks (how far along I was when scanned) & I'm now convinced she is a she..
I was convinced it was a boy (because I wanted a girl so badly!)
I also compared my pic to sozzys potty shot and felt more relaxed haha
Have you got any pics that you can post? (If you don't want to share don't feel you have to!) xx

Hi Capricorn, we didn't get a piccy of the underneath, we just saw examples of boy/girl shots before we went in and as soon as we couldn't see any balls we knew n she said it's a girl!! We chose dvd instead of piccies so we can send people xxx

Phoebes_mum - I was 20 weeks yesterday - it was incredibly bizarre, and rather uncomfortable at times, but under my belly button was definitely moving! This is my first pregnancy, so assumed it was normal??? :s I might have to check now! I have a consultant appointment tomorrow.....

We put our place on the market on Thursday, we had an offer on Saturday, and we put an offer in on a house today! Its all rather quick and scary, but I cannot see a nursery where we are now, and being on the 2nd floor, could be rather problematic with no lift come the summer!!

Vickilou - the clothes are so cute!!!! Good luck on the flat swap!

Sarah - I wish my bump was that neat! Glad the grapes are doing ok!

Daley - hope you day is going ok!

and everyone else is having a nice sunny Sunday! x

I've had this.. Mine was baby all bundled up in one position moving about.. Felt like her back was against the front of my tummy with her facing to my back (head up or bum down). You could clearly see it.. I woke up on my back in the middle of the night because it was so uncomfortable..
I changed position and she moved :)

Xx

Clare, property market is insane at the moment. Our flat sold within a week and we found a house that had been on market for 24 hours and had our offer accepted immediately. So so fast!

There were houses we booked in to see and they were gone in the 12 hours between booking the ap to see them and us being able to go for our viewing. Insane.

Exciting times though! I can't wait to move our of our flat and have our lovely house! X

Capricorn- glad it's not something weird!! I thought it was probably buba's back :)

Sarah- it is crazy isn't it?? I can't believe we saw a house and within 4 hrs we put and offer I ! Our flat was on the market for under 24hrs before we got an offer- it's so insane! Fingers crossed our offer gets accepted- I so so want it!! I am glad you got yours :) you must be soooo excited to be in your baby's first home soon :)

Phoebes_mum- it happens so so fast near London (not sure where you live!) maybe a tad less crazy if you are further from crazy south! :)

Morning girls - operation move house is well under way. Monday stuff has been moved and we are left with just the bear minimum for this week.

Survived the mother in law although she got on my nerves big time. After I lost my baby last year and when I first found out I was expecting again she did nothing but go on about how much she wouldlove another granddaughter. When she was told they b think this is a boy she said to my daughter, well boys are better anyway. My daughter was devastated. She did a few other things that annoyed me but I'd be here all day the cheek of some people!

Got my scan on wed.

Glad to see were all doing well xxx

Sorry to hear she was rather unpleasant! She shouldn't say things like that to your daughter :( so upsetting!

Glad the move is going well :) x

We're just outside of Tunbridge Wells so a bit further out but still only an hour on the train to London.

Half term so week off this week. Need to get as much done to the house as possible but not easy with a 3 year old running around!

Have a good day everyone xx

Tell me about it! Moving and half term not a good combination!

We're taking the day off packing today and going the pictures and for lunch! Xxx

Glad you're taking some time off and that the move is going as well as it can. x

Hope Xjodgex is OK. No posts from her since she said she wasn't feeling too good. Hope you're OK hun. xxx

Morning Ladies! I hope you all had good weekends! We had a power cut Friday night and it didn't come on again til sat eve, OH had his little boy so they invited a couple of friends over to eat everything out of our freezer, so I escaped to my mums for an hour or so. 2 weeks til my scan and felt my first proper kick yesterday, but nothing since.

Sounds stressful k8tblue! Glad the power is back! Glad you felt baby kick, it's amazing!

Hope xjodge is ok too! Thanks Andie, daughter enjoyed the film, now sat eating a not so healthy McDonald's!

Morning ladies (well afternoon really) I didn't get up till 11!!! Oooops... Just sat and felt one of the bubs really giving me a good kicking... Didn't wanna move and disturb the feeling!! I nearly cried too... It's been a while since I've properly felt anything from them so was beginning to get worried...

I'm at the doctors at 3 to talk through some of my anxiety and see if she's willing to sign me off longer as I really don't feel myself and going back to work at the moment will just make me worse... Also got thrush (sorry tmi) so want some cream for that... Oh the joys... Lol...

Glad things are going well for you Daley :) you enjoy that McDonald's!!

Love to everyone XxXxX

Hello to all beautiful mummies and have a good half term week :petal:

Trying to sort things out in our house too (so much mess and need to convert a room that has been used for storage for years into baby room - soooo much work needs to be done, so many clothes/clutter/equipment to be sorted out/donated/sold that I feel lost already!!!) The plan is for us to also eventually move out of this house but we are going to welcome baby here and probably live here for his first year or so until we sort/fix this house ready for renting or selling and find somewhere else to live, more family suitable.

I am struggling with feeling exhausted and queasy for most of the day, still :( And I am so fed up and frustrated with it. It's either strong hunger pains or I give in and eat something and then badly regret it for the rest of the day...having to cope with a terrible upset stomach, feeling I am on the verge, just a split second away from throwing up, but never eventually do. That disgust is constantly there, always at the bottom of my stomach, making me so miserable. I had thought this would be over by now... I feel like I still cannot function and I feel terrible and guilty and useless for postponing so many important jobs that need to be done asap...

On a better note I have my app'nt with MW tomorrow (Tue) afternoon, so something to look forward to, esp. hearing the baby bubble's heartbeat again!! :)
Then a private app'nt on 27th Feb as a precautionary measure to explore my risk/possibility of developing pre-eclapsia (I try to stay calm over this, much calmer than when I was faced with the Down syndrome risk - I know my stress is no good for baby bubble)

I hope Xjodgex is well, just having a few quiet days :petal:

Love and lots of healthy wishes to all of you lovely mummies xxx

Sammiammiammi- I hope it all goes well at the docs, am sure if you explain your anxiety they'll be sympathetic. Am glad you can feel some good kicks today, I only felt my first one yesterday but its such a relief :)

Blue Bubble- Bless you! I've been feeling queasy these past few days too and have a really grotty feeling right at the pit of my stomach so I can sympathise a bit. Don't worry about postponing things you and the baby are more important. Enjoy listening to babies heartbeat I know that always cheers me up. :)

xx

Good afternoon girls

I can't believe how quickly it's gone!
We only have 5 months left or under!
Counting down the days till Saturday to find out sex!
Is anyone else finding out this week?x

Hey hun,
I was so so ill up until week 18ish. Don't worry, it can still go away and probably will. I'm still sick every now and again ( usually when I wake up in morning or from a nap) but it did take me until the last week or so to be able to eat almost normally.
I really feel for you because it is so constant and you really have no idea when it's going to end.

I hope it starts getting better for you soon babe, I really do :-( xx
