**** July 2014 Mummies ****

How you feeling about possible team blue Daley?? :-)your have one of each then :-) x

Thanks girls! I relieved baby was looking healthy.

Hoping it is a boy, will be nice to have one of each. 20 days until I get in confirmed! Husband still thinks it'll be a girl x

They also said I have an anterior placenta but it is high! Been feeling movements since 14 weeks. Scanned showed baby to be still face up with it's knees tucked up which must be what I feel x

Ohh wasn't it printed on the form they gave you at your 12 week scan?? Mine was x

No it wasn't :(

Phoebes_mum - mine came a couple of weeks ago, not at the 12 weeks like some, I'd ring your hospital ultrasound dept and ask. That's what I was told if I hadn't heard from them by Feb.

Mines the 18th Feb, I am literally counting the days til we can see our little wiggler again!

Daley- glad to see you appt went well! X

Thanks for that, I may well do that tomorrow xx

Hi ladies.. Sorry I've not been on, I've not been very well with a terrible migraine so avoided computers and phones! If anyone els is suffering from headaches I recommend those cooling gel head strips, soo good!

Lovely to read about movements and midwife appointments going well :-).. Daley il be thinking of you tomorrow.. Let us know how you get on and if you find out the gender :-)

I've booked a private scan for the 8th feb.. My 20 weeks scan isn't until the 12th march, il be 21weeks so couldn't wait as my Doppler hire has expired now so I'm sending it back today- it's been a huge help!! I haven't had lots of movements.. Just the odd bubble now and again.

Anyone els being tested for diabetes ?.. I have my first GTT this Monday.. It's so boring! Hoping it's good news when I see my midwife on Wednesday :-)

How's everyone els doing? All starting to feel better?x

Hey Sozzy. I've been struggling with migraines too so avoiding phones n bright lights so not been on here much. Where do u get those strips from? I've also booked a 16 week gender scan was only 39 as I can't wait til march for Nhs 20week one so I'll know next Friday 7th feb :) so excited. I'm back at midwife apt on weds n gonna discuss my blood count being so low and my daily nosebleeds! Other than the headaches the sickness has eased off but I'm on gaviscon n lactulose n iron daily now for indigestion constipation n low blood count. Still very tired but that's probably the anaemia. It's really going quite fast though n love my Doppler it's so reassuring xx

Hey Hun :).. Sorry to hear your struggling with them too.. The strips are for kids lol (fever cool & soothe) from asda! They are brilliant so soothing so I highly recommend them along with a dark room.
£39 that's great!.. Cheapest I found around here is £60, I really couldn't wait until my 20 week scan date either.. I need to know now lol. We are both so close to finding out eeek! Look forward to your scan pic and gender news :-)
I'm very tired lately and my hips and pelvic is playing up.. Shooting pains and clicking, hope it will pass :-/
Doppler a are amazing arnt they! My hire ran out so it went back today and I'm missing it already! The reassurance is great!x

I haven't been told where or what my placenta is.. I'm thinking it's low as I'm not feeling a great deal of movement yet x

You're more than welcome, it helped remind me what we need. We used water and cotton wool for the first 2 or 3 weeks, even when you do bath them you won't use more than water and a sponge to start with but will at that point need a baby bath xx Oh and bumbos are great too when they are a bit older ( I guess about weaning age) as long as you don't leave them unsupervised.

Ladies with back/pelvic pain, I went to my dr about this today as I've had this for a couple of months now, she is referring me for some physiotherapy so it may be worth a visit to your gp. xx

Thanks for this Hun.. I'm seeing my midwife on Wednesday.. She's aware I've suffered in the last with spd in pregnancy.. Just didn't realise it could happen this early!! Physio helps x

My midwife didnt seem bothered so I went to the dr!

 can I join?
I've been on PF for years but I haven't posted in a while due to being crazy busy so just wanted to re-introduce myself...

I'm Stacey, I have a son who turned 3 on New Years Eve so this is my second baby... things didnt really work out with DS fob so we split up when DS was one.. I've known OH for 9 years, we've been together just over a year and this is his first child.. we're extremely excited.. well he is, I'm in that much pain with SPD I don't really get chance to enjoy it much!!

Anyway, we're due 7th July, 6 days before my birthday! Im nearly 18 weeks but I feel like I've been pregnant forever!!

Looking forward to getting to know you all :)

Just had a quick read through too... I had severe SPD in my first pregnancy and they didnt do anything to help! It never went away after I gave birth either.. it's gotten worse from about 9 weeks this time, I've been referred to physio too just waiting to be seen now.. has taken quite a while to sort so if any of you are suffering please dont hesitate to ask for help and dont be fobbed off like I was last time!!
