**** July 2014 Mummies ****

Sounds good to me :-) I'm off to bed.. Night all xx

Hi ladies, I've not posted for a few days, I went back at work Monday and it's totally wide me out... Hoping I'll sleep better tonight cuz I'm so tired...

I have a question for all those not having their first baby... What things did you find essential and what were a load of crap??? I've been looking at kezzas list but there is so much stuff on there and on sale now days it's all a bit overwhelming... With 2 on the way we really can't afford to waste money so I am starting to gather info and make decisions so need all the help we can get!!!

Daley... Good luck tomorrow I'll be keeping a look out for news.

Hope everyone is ok XxXxX

Sammi:
We were gifted a lot of clothes (which i normally wouldn't have considered) & found that actually a lot of it was in good condition so accept hand me downs if they're offered (throw them out if they're crap!)..that's my best piece of advice!

Essential: hard to say as we didn't use many gadgets. Stuck to the basics for everything & accepted a lot if thoughtful gifts from relatives. Theo loved his dummy though & took to it straight away. It's sort of his comfort blanket. Apparently not so brill if you're breastfeeding but I wasn't so wasn't applicable.

Could have lived without: vibrating baby bouncer. Gift from SIL & I hated it. Sat him too far upright & the vibration was crap. Plain baby bouncer this time. Also, a cot mobile. He was in his Moses basket until 6months & I never really felt it was that secure hanging over his head..much preferred a light display. The most fun anybody got out of the cot mobile was me when I bought it..haha. Lovely memory but the £30 could have been better spent.

Xxx

Thanks for that Capricorn, I'm not going to refuse hand me does at all, I'm all for them! We are going to raid the bro in laws loft after we've moved to see what we can reuse :) my sis in law is excited we're having one of each as she gets to buy pink (she's had 2 boys) lol.

My appointment is at 11.30 but says due to the nature of the clinic, appointments really run to time! Aaagggghhh more time to be anxious!

Best of luck for today Daley xx sure everything will be fine :)

Here is my baby! Looking good so far! Got to go back in 4/5 weeks for another scan! They are sure it's a boy but was hard to tell so was told they'll check again at the next one!

Feeling relieved, they've taken loads of blood and are trying to find out baby's blood type x
