Born Thursday morning at 6am weighing 7lb9 healthy boy x
well as you all know i had a sweep wednesday morning at 1030am
felt no pain till 1pm they was not very painful but hurt more when he moved his head. i bonced on my ball for a while my pains was at bottom of belly and bottom of my back 6-7 mins apart then stopped for bit then back on.
i got in the bath at 6pm and helped alot with the pain even though it was not very painful till baby moved, i waited for my tea i had donor meat and chips and thought id sit leaning against my gym ball and i screamed out because i had a painful one, so i thought id better phone the hospital and they told me to come in when i walked they brought on a contraction. When i got to hospital she checked me and told me i was not in full labour i think she said, so she took me to a room full of pregnant woman and i was worrying incase i kept them awake :/. The pains where sometimes not as intence and i could not time them because they was all over the place, she told me to go for a bath so i had a few contractions in the bath got out and she checked me again and in 2 hours i was 5-7cm dilated so they moved me over to the lAbour ward.
i then was having a few intence pains and i could feel his head pressing and grinding against my bones so i asked for an epidural, i had the needle at 2am i thought id have him by 3am but then the problems started, i wasnt contracting as often as i should of been, and as painful i was still 7-8cm by 5am so they got the doctor in and said to top up me pain thing so i dont feel it anymore and that i should have baby by 8am i was so so tired by this time, the doctor checked inside and the baby head was not coming down and she cud feel the cord round his neck so she had to turn his head and omg that bloody hurt i was screaming lol, then she told me i was 10cm so i started pushing and he got stuck half way down that was painful my bits where on fire and i thought i was splitting open. I felt the midwife holding onto baby because he had cord round his neck to i had to stop pushing half was trough i started shouting dont push him back in lol. And one last push and he was born
Id like to say everyone is diffrent and sometimes the contractions aint as powerful i was quite lucky their the felt a bit like the ones i been having a few days before so if you think your in labout its always best to get checked over because you never know x
i was also sick in birth witch is normal for me i think i made my mum a bit ill to lol nothing beats a good cuppa after birth though
now its saturday my bottom of my back is very sore and stiff i am very very tired and i also have period pains and yes i still am contracting but thats everything inside getting back together i also lost some big chunks lol sorry tmi
