What kind of feelings have you been having?? x

I've started noticing movements today. Very excited to see them again Saturday  we get a DVD in the package, I can imagine laying in bed with it on just watching over and over, probably sobbing. Doing a lot of sobbing lately lol

Hi ladies,

I haven't posted in a while, but it's been great catching up on this thread.

I had my 20 week scan today, early at 18+6 due to the fact I fly off on holiday tomorrow for 3 weeks and would be back past the time they can do them. All Developing well and healthy. Baby is definitely a girl too. So excited to announce it to everyone finally.

Congratulations Louisa!!

Just got back from seeing the midwife. Today was the first time I've ever heard Jaxon's heartbeat and it was just magical. She said that using a doppler it's usually quite difficult to find most women's baby's heartbeats at 18 weeks but as soon as she placed the wand on my stomach she found it immediately - didn't even have to move it around - she was shocked to say the least!! She said that the heartbeat was lovely and strong - so I'm happy to know our little boy is doing well and is healthy - that's all that matters. She confirmed that all of my bloods were normal, too, and got me to POAS to test my sugars which were also fine.

Next appointment is on September 14th at my local doctor surgery! She also gave me a really helpful leaflet about bonding with your unborn baby.

Hope everyone is doing well - can't wait to find out some more genders eeeeek!! Seems January is a little girl's month so far!! Anyone else want to have a little boy with me??? Pmsl xx

Aww it is so amazing hearing their heart beating! I was lucky to hear it at our private 9 week scan, i couldn't believe it then. My second midwife appointment would have been too early i should imagine, with a Doppler anyway. Its so strange how it's different in each area, i got a letter with my bloods results at about 13 weeks, following my blood test and NT check at the hospital scan. My third appointment with the midwife inst until early October now! Seems a lifetime away.
I have the gender scan on Saturday, hopefully we will know for sure if we are Pink Or Blue! I couldn't even guess lol, i really don't mind thought either way

How we all feeling? I feel great today! xx

Oooooo mystery! we have another girl! Pink does seem to be popular! :) maybe I'll be joining that team .. or not. We shall see!
Oh enjoy your holiday louisa! we go on the 29th!
Carly how exciting , can't wait to see what team you're on! :)

Oh - we've finally told my mother! It all went ok, so huge relief! Just told my sisters today , and going to tell the boys this weekend. My oldest already knows as he's 13 so we didn't want to hide it from him. Hope he copes ok, moody teenagers, it does worry me!
Anyway, feeling more positive today. Just want to let the bump (well it isn't that big!) hang out now! :)

Mystery , did we have a gender guess from your scan? Love to know if people were right! :)

I'm going to guess boy! Xx

Oh Carly I don't know! I'm sure I guessed girl for your scan, so I'll go with that. I'm excited to find out what you're having! :)

I dont remember this so early with my first but im convinced i can feel baby rolling around quite often! Not just kicking... Amyone else?

Although i do apparently have gymnast children as my first had a tight true knot in his cord (1 in 2000 pregnancies) which was worrying to find out even though its usually ok ...i think it occured after 20 week scan as it probs would have been picked up i.e.. Thats a big size to complete that kind of manoeuvre!

Very exciting for all you ladies finding out the gender!!

I had a little cry on the kitchen floor yday at the prospect of having a 2.5 yr old and a newborn!! She was in the process of having a strop and me crying actually stopped her and she cuddled me bless her. Think I was just being over emotional. Didn't help that we've just bought a cat too haha! Hope you're all a bit more sane than me!!!

My little boy will be 3 in the Feb following the birth of our 2nd baby boy. We have had hell with our little boy tantrums and generally being a right pain. I have cried so much thinking that this was how it was going to be but we have come out of the other side and he is back to being adorable again.
I think its a stage they go through at around 2, there is light at the end of the tunnel and all will be fine. My little boy is 2 and a half now and he is just the best. Xx

Thanks, that means a lot! Cried twice today too! She can be so lovely and out and about she's great, but the last few days I've really struggled with her 😢 feels ridiculous that a 2-year-old can make me cry so much.

You will come out the other side and all will be forgotten- I promise! Sending big hugs!!

Problem is we will be putting ourselves through it again with these ones! Lol x
