Got a fun top yesterday lol still not feeling much in the way of movement

Thanks carly I've been anxious about it so I can't wait until it's all out in the open!
I have no idea where my placenta is either, they used to tell you at the dating scan (in my area) but she didn't say and nothing on my notes. So will find out at the 20week scan. It is early for movements anyway, but in the next month we should all be feeling our babies a lot more! Exciting.

Having a lazy day today!! Cannot be bothered! - well actually it's not lazy at all, as I've got the kids.. who I've had to repeatedly shout at all day !! . But I'm trying to sit down!

Suffering with a constant headache again woke up at 1am with it, and it's still not gone.

So frustrated with the headaches! Mine seem to come in the evening or at night and then linger and get worse till I cave and take a painkiller

Think this is a migraine cause I've felt so sick with it too they just say it's 'normal'... Doesn't feel very normal

I definitely feel more anxious about labour this time, which will be my 4th labour! Strangely last time I felt really empowered and was actually excited about birth. This time I just feel old, and worried!
I'm getting definite movements but this pregnancy is totally different. I've felt movement from 13/14 weeks with the others but this one later and not as strong as the others yet. Every pregnancy truly is different and my midwife reminded me of that when I had a bit of a wobble over the movements leaflet.
I still don't have a date for 20 week scan yet, I'll likely phone if I don't hear by the start of next week.

Megs did you not get a scan date at your dating scan? That's when we get ours. It's still quite terrifying isn't it, no matter what number baby you're on. I'm extra worried this time, but I'm being monitored and extra scans so I'm feeling slightly reassured.

How is everyone today? How is your head Carly?

It's my little boys 2nd birthday on Sunday , it's exciting and going to bring back so many mixed emotions from the day! Even more with my hormones being all over the place anyway!

My nephews 7th birthday today. So we're off out soon to take his present.

Private gender scan booked for Thursday so I find out sex in two days yay!! Also so nervous like I am before every scary since I can't feel any movement and yesterday my belly disappeared hoping was just baby moving back or bloat finally going down but my bellys back to what it was around 12 weeks

Are you hoping for a particular gender? So excited to find out another gender for our January Mummies!! It's all starting to feel so real now. I still haven't processed the fact we're having a little boy!! x

Yeah we kind of decided on that name before we knew it was a boy. I loved the name Jackson for a little boy but I wanted it to be slightly more unique so we decided to spell it Jaxon instead. We actually already have the entire name sorted. Jaxon Mark William Biggs-Keen. The middle name Mark is in memory of my brother who died 5 years ago (he had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - not sure if you'll know what that is?), the other middle name William is in memory of my OH's grandad who he was extremely close to and he was brought up by him from a young age too and the double barreled surname is a mixture of my surname and OH's. We were sitting here thinking and I realised that there's no one that I know of on my side of the family that will be carrying on my surname.. Since my brother passed there's no other boys! So I was quite sad when I realised my surname would be no longer... So OH came up with the idea of having a double barreled surname so that my surname is still carried on in some way and will continue to be through any of Jaxon's children that he'll have in the future!

We're so excited to have the name picked out already xx

Head is improved, thank goodness. I actually cried last night in frustration felt so pathetic lol.

Sugar I think my dating scan triggers the 20 week appointment to be made here. I mentioned to my midwife at my 16 week check just in case it was in my TRAK notes but she said it would cone in the post.

Very exciting for all you ladies finding out the gender!!

I had a little cry on the kitchen floor yday at the prospect of having a 2.5 yr old and a newborn!! She was in the process of having a strop and me crying actually stopped her and she cuddled me bless her. Think I was just being over emotional. Didn't help that we've just bought a cat too haha! Hope you're all a bit more sane than me!!!

I feel your pain Mystery - I have to guard my nip-nips from the shower head of water, as if they catch the water it kills! Having a shower has never been so potentially unenjoyable!

Morning Ladies,

Today, i'm taking Zachary on a play date to see his first true love, who I met when he was 8 weeks old at a baby massage class - our babies are now 3 years old, and we still keep in touch and meet up!

This afternoon I have the joy that is, an appointment with the Health Visitor because i'm overweight and pregnant. I assume she'll just tell me to eat healthily, ohh the irony. I weighed myself this morning, and I weigh pretty much the same as when I got pregnant in April - so i've gained nothing so far, probably due to the awful sickness and nausea I had to begin with. Although i'm not being sick or feeling nauseous, food is still a struggle at times. I just don't fancy anything and/or things don't taste "right" to me.

Hope you're all keeping well, loving the gender reveals that are coming in thick and fast!

My little boy will be 3 in the Feb following the birth of our 2nd baby boy. We have had hell with our little boy tantrums and generally being a right pain. I have cried so much thinking that this was how it was going to be but we have come out of the other side and he is back to being adorable again.
I think its a stage they go through at around 2, there is light at the end of the tunnel and all will be fine. My little boy is 2 and a half now and he is just the best. Xx

Thanks, that means a lot! Cried twice today too! She can be so lovely and out and about she's great, but the last few days I've really struggled with her 😢 feels ridiculous that a 2-year-old can make me cry so much.

Karen we have our moments too!!! Our 2.5 year old has so much energy and doesn't listen!!! He's forever doing something dangerous too, he ate some hair gel on Sunday and tonight has fallen backwards off the sofa and now has a long egg on the back of his head. That's just the tip of the iceberg, our older son is great but getting more freedom to play out so there's lots of rules and time outs in our house just now.
But I drive to work thinking how on earth will we cope!!!
