Ohh Karen! I'm a teaching assistant in a special needs school, I understand! How cheeky of that parent! Disgraceful. I haven't told them I'm pregnant yet!. I finish on Thursday for the holidays so I've got today or tomorrow to tell them.. it does worry me about their reaction , as I'm pregnant 'again!' , but there isn't much they can do. I'm sure they'll be fine anyway. on the countdown!

So me being me, I am too impatient to wait a month for my 20 week scan so I have booked a gender scan at babybond in my local mothercare for tomorrow. I'll be bang on 16 weeks. So excited and also so nervous

Oooooh exciting! There will be 2 of us with colour! I think Im the first to know that Im having a boy here! Good luck hope baby is in a decent position x

I did feel guilty as I feel I've only been back five mins!! My daughter is two so been back a while but you know how fast a school year flies by!

I know Karen! Harley is 2 in August, and I've had 3 pregnancies while teaching there but not all close together and I've been there over 10 years so I don't think it's a massive issue. And it's up to us anyway really I only went back to work June last year and now I'm having to tell them - I MUST do it tomorrow!! Last day! Nervous! But then I've got to face my mother! Arghhhh! Wish I could just be excited knowing everyone else would be

Oh wow - congratulations on finding out you are expecting a boy. I've convinced myself mine will be a boy too just because of when it was conceived and how the 12 week scan looked. I would be happy with either though as have 2 girls and 1 boy at the moment. I found the girls easier babies but they've become more hard the older they have got, where as my boy was a hard baby, but has gotten easier as he has gotten older. So exciting

I was suprised to see that a lot of the mothercare stores now have baby bond scan clinics in them. I got a special off for a 16 week gender scan being only £39 instead of £59 and I get a few black and white photos and a 4d image too. Things have changed so much in 7 years - I'm sure I paid about £80 for my sons gender scan

I got that offer through the post... No idea who gave them my address or what i signed up for! But the weeks it said for gender scan was so close to my 20wk i felt like it was a bit of a waste of money.

But i wont lie, it would be great to find out sooner!!! Xx

I got one on a Groupon, it's Leicestershire. Should have been £99 reduced to £59. Gender confirmation scan with 2D and 4D prints and a DVD! I thought that was a bargain, i think I'll end up watching the dvd every day
The same place did our early reassurance scan, it's a lovely set up if anyone is local I recommend it x

So exciting people are starting to find out! I have a private gender scan booked for August 3rd. We're going up to northern Ireland for a few days so stopping in mother care on the way back for a gender scan, so much cheaper!!

Well the last day with the kids at work today was a good1! But abit emotional! I can't even start and relax as I am packing for a weekend away in the caravan! My kids are still at school tomorrow so going to get sorted.

Is anyone else really emotional, really easily?! We went to the cinema to see war for the planet of the apes and I was in tears! And almost In Tears today when we're only breaking up for summer! Haha..

I'm in work tomorrow morning to do some sorting so going to tell management then about the pregnancy. Eek.

Carly you're right we need a list of people finding out! Xx
