Here's my bump at 15 weeks. It's very different to my last boys bump, it stuck out a lot more with him. I'm a lot rounder this time! ... all over (yep, ass, thighs, hips... awesome!!)

I still dot have much of a bump lol but I've put on a lot of weight and I'm getting married in September so wedding dress shopping was awful today lol I feel so gross with how much I put on at the start of the pregnancy but funny enough the weight gain has pretty much stopped still feel like a whale tho lol

Really struggling with clothes too, I had to throw something together for work today!

Bump also coming along and a lot bigger than I've been at this stage before!

Starting to wonder if finding out the gender is the right thing. I've got a feeling I'm having my 3rd boy, but obv don't know for sure. I keep find myself googling pics of girl scans and comparing to mine. I know part of me will be disappointed if it's not a girl as will definitely be our last baby, and dont want to spend the rest of the pregnancy feeling that way. Don't get me wrong, I love my boys and will obv be over the moon with another healthy boy, but I can't deny wanting that mother/daughter realationship like I have with my own mum. X

I'm a fat whale on holiday right now!!! We're in corsica in about 32 degrees most days. Thankfully I lost 4 stones since my last pregnancy so I have some very loose fitting holiday clothes. We're going away again in October though and I'll definitely need maternity tankini by then!!
I already ordered maternity trousers and stretchy pool shirts at work instead of my tunics to try and hide the bulge. I think most people just thought I was piling on weight, which I feel like I am! I'm going to ask my mw about going back to slimming world soon.

We will be finding out the gender if we can at the next scan. We never did at our last three pregnancies and I feel like we can dare to do things differently and help our boys prepare for the next baby too.

I know how you feel Hope - granted, I have one little boy but I would love a baby girl. I've almost convinced myself this baby is a girl. We're having a private gender scan on Friday and I know whatever the outcome I'll love baby. My husband is a bit worried that if baby isn't a girl I will be heart broken. I wouldn't go that far, but I won't be having anymore children after this, or st least that's what I think currently. I would just love for our families to have a granddaughter, husbands side haven't yet and my side have one who is nearly 13, followed by 4 grandsons.
What will be, willl be and at least from Friday I'll know for sure!

Had a funny do this morning, lights in eyes , ended up being quite painful with a headache that wouldn't go away, couldn't open eyes, just wanted to rest but can't with 3 little ones feeling abit better now but I see midwife Monday for 16 week appt so I'll mention it. ...

Yes you are popping out early for being your first Carly lovely bump. When is your 20 week scan date? Can't remember if you said you were having a gender scan. I had to change my scan date as we're on holiday, so it's the 25th August. My 1 year old also has an X-ray that morning so looks like it's a day out !!

Zero energy today , how is everyone ? Xx

Hoping for no.2 I understand what you're saying completely, as I have 4 boys! I only found out with number 4, just for practical reasons... I thought I'd be disappointed too, and a little part of me was I'll be honest, but I loved knowing I was having another little boy. But I definitely didn't want anymore, so I did feel abit sad not having a daughter. So this being a complete surprise I feel like I'm so lucky as it is! maybe it'll be a girl after all, but at the same time, trying not to think like that, as I know I'll love a boy just as much. And we're not finding out the gender , going to have a surprise on the day.

Hey Hun, just saw your post and wanted to comment. I had my 3rd boy last year and I found out my having an early scan at 17wks. I can't lie I was so disappointed and deflated, like I wasn't excited. It was an awful feeling and still haunts me now. I obviously wanted nothing more than a healthy baby but my desire to experience a daughter and have that different relationship was overwhelming, still is I managed to get through the pregnancy by buying pretty much all new clothes even though I had a loft full of boys clothes, I needed him and me to feel special and not like he only had hand me downs.

The feeling for wanting a girl still hasn't gone away even now he is 15 months as I still always wonder what if and feel like I am missing out on something I don't have. I am not sorry I have 3 boys as they are all just amazing just gutted to not have experienced both sides. As for finding out I think I made the right decision for me at the time as it really did take me a while to get my head around the idea, and I think if I found out at the birth I would have possibly sunk into a worse pnd than I did.

That being said if I am lucky enough to persuade hubby to a 4th baby (he is still quite adamant on 3 being our lot) then I think I would go for the surprise as I think it is something special to do and experience. Ps. I think from your scan it looks like a little boy xxx

So OH just came home for a little bit on his lunch break from work. He had my t-shirt lifted up and was touching my belly. When he stopped, the right side of my stomach jolted very quickly - think little bump was giving him a quick kick lol. I couldn't feel it but we both saw it and it was so amazing to see. I can't wait to start feeling those kicks and movements.

1 week and 3 days until we find out the gender as well. I'm so excited!!

Do we think this means im growing one big baby??? My husband is over 6ft and hes got a big head, all be it in proportion to his 6 foot self i suppose haha

You may just be carrying all our front .. (that's how Ive Carried my boys!) my biggest was 8lb 9oz.. but I was quite big with him with a lot of fluid too. Bump size doesn't really make a difference ! I was neat with my 3rd and he was early and 7lb 9oz but you never know!! Hehe. Can't wait until we all have our big bumps , all different shapes and sizes

Hi all just catching up!

Sounds like some exciting holidays due/happening. Enjoy everyone . Ours will be in the UK this year in a couple of weeks..aiming for lower stress than our last summer hol.

Snap sugar my 20wk scan is 25th august 2 days after our holiday and my OH will defo want to find out, id like a surprise but i'm probably kidding myself ... Doubt i could go without knowing. We wouldnt find out early just trying to be patient and save money.

I'm still feeling huge at my approx 10lb weight gain so much more than with my first and im convinced its fat and not baby which is more upsetting! Although my weight is a stone too heavy in my notes due to a mix up so i need to let them know just incase its important ... Wondered if it affected my downs results which was around 3 times less risk than with my son .. About 1 in 86000 if i rember right. P.s sorry if i seem so fixated on weight... Its just what im always like!!

I'm ill just now its like really sore throat and cold and funny head combined with pregnancy muscle aches sometimes. hoping it will pass for our weekend away.

Can't wait for scan, my son keeps squishing my belly and kicking me during nappy changes i know theres a lot of protection but it worries me!

On your previous post you mentioned headache. I am suffering daily at the moment. I'm told it's just one of them things and to take paracetamol. So uncomfortable. I've been drinking plenty cause ive a bladder infection too. Nightmare.

I know, even though I have a bump I think I still just look a bit like I've had a big dinner lol.

Anyone else got hip pains or tightening? Woke up with this now as well as a headache
