IVF Here I come :(

My 3rd and final IUI failed, so upset yet again that this cycle turned out with a BFN.
I've decided to give up on these and head for the IVF so I'll be joining you lovely ladies on this roller coaster. I'm booked in with my specialist next week and we'll talk through everything with her but I'm pretty sure I don't want to continue with IUI's as the odds of it working go down after 3 tries. Going to have to get saving too as we have to pay for it in the US, so i'll have to find out how much it all is too.

I'll probably be here more often now as I have no clue what to expect with IVF and how it all works, so sorry in advance if I ask questions that have previously been asked. I'm going to sit down and read Louise's journey as I feel thats a good place to start as she's always so informed and well researched, Thank you Louise!

Buggy, I'm so upset for you. Everytime I update the roll call thread I wondered how you were getting on. Sorry it's bad news

There are other drugs besides the ones I use, like instead of doing the first injection you could have a nasal spray. Also you could have a shorter treatment if you are prone to increased risks of OHSS that only lasts a couple of weeks.

I'll have a look and see what info I have.

There is a UK fertility forum I use called fertilityfriends, but it's not very chatty even though a lot of people use it. No doubt there will be an American equivalent too.

Try not to be too disheartened. I realise it's a lot of money, but the treatment isn't that bad - might change my mind on that one if it doesn't work though

When do you see the consultant?
