is this normal

not sure if this is normal or not so any advice would be good

when i was changing willows nappy today i noticed she had a milky coloured discaharge which i havent seen before is this normal for a baby or is it someting i should worry about?

Sounds like thrush... tbh nothing should be coming out of there atm... but what can happen (especially with little girls) is they do a poo and it goes all over and up inside their vagina.. causing thrush.. we as women know we have to wipe from front to back to prevent thrush, but obviously with nappies and such, its harder to keep that under control with little girls.

Clean it every day with just warm water (no soap) and dry the area... then put on a cream called metanium.

My mum used it all the time with me, I used it with Tia and it's really good for treating things like this... although its really sticky..

Try that for a few days, if she still has the discharge or it gets worse in anyway, go to the doctor... but with little girls it happens alot I'm afraid.
