Is this normal...?

Hello ladies..

My bleeding appears to be coming to an end...it's only been 2 weeks but I did have a mahoosive hemmorrage (sp) when I delivered, so a lot of blood will have come away then...

For the last few days its been just kind of brown, light brown like you get at the tail end of a period and then today its more like yellow discharge...

does this sound normal for the tail end of the bleeding? it doesnt smell..it does have a smell, but it just smells of me..if that makes sense...i dont think its an infection...

I am extra paranoid because of my episiotomy not healing properly....

Well mines been 4 weeks and still coming to an end as you say its more like brown now and only sometimes a little reddy water so I would presume the same thing and is normal! XX

It does sound normal and as you say you had a hell of a lot of bleeding just after. I would just keep an eye on it and mention to HV next time or midwife if they haven't signed you off yet

Yes mine tailed off the exact same way after 12 days

Sounds EXACTLY like mine, and mine lasted same amount of time too

Mine is like you describe now (18 days after birth). Think it's normal.

Mines like that too, it was pretty light the whole way through, and seems like its almost finished now. Just noticeable when I'm feeding. Hv said yesterday that sounded right. Xxx
