is this bleeding normal after giving birth????

Hi all, I had connor 3 weeks ago tuesday coming. My bleeding has been very strange past few days. I had a heavy bleed for 2 days then it went really light. NOw i have started up again and its fairly heavy. However it is very thick blood and very dark red. I am passing some clots. Its not very heavy to point where i am gushing. Sorry tmi. But like i said its very thick. I am starting to get some tummy pain with it. My tummy is very tender too touch. However i dont have a fever, or it doesnt smell so doesnt seem like infection. Is anyone else getting this? Or do you know if this is normal. This is my 3 rd baby but i have never been bleeding for this long or had this type of bleed.
Any help or advice would be very appreciated.

I'm not sure tbh Hun! I kbow my bleeding was very stop starty this time and varied in consistency for want of a better word do you still have the number for the maternity unit at your hospital? I got told I could call them any time day or night for the first month! Might be worth giving them a bell just so they can set your mind at ease

im gettin this to my lil un 5 weeks old now and i get bad tummy pains only to find that i gush with blood and need to change more frequant sorry tmi, small clotts bad tummy ache, think sounds normal if we both have it hun x
