Is it only after implantation?

Hi Ladies,

Just got a couple of questions. Is it only after implantation occurs that you're likely to get any symptoms?

Also, the due dates and tickers and things, they're done from the time the egg was fertilised (or from the first day of the last period) that's correct isn't it?

First day of last period is where they take their calculations from. I was baffled by this but its the standard my GP tells me.

About the other, no clue really. I'd think it was more likely after implantation but maybe some get symptoms really early on.

When I was having my son, I had symptoms from about a week before I tested. I was feeling very, very sick. That is when I suspected that I may be pregnant.

I knew I was pg almost straight away. I went off alcohol completely (on an all-inclusive holiday doh) and I started to biff out much more than usual PMT would be. When I look back at my holiday photos my boobs look massive too! I just kind of "knew" even though it was technically impossible.... oh well.
