Internal Tomorrow

The day I have been dreading is here. I have to go back to Jessops to have an internal and see if im healing and how the internal stitches are going plus go through all the problems which I have been left with since giving birth i.e. no sensation in pelvic floor muscle, bladder and passing motion (putting it polite) problems then on Thursday its back to the hospital again for physio.

Well what can I say. I have to have an internal on the front and back passage (not nice). The internal stitches are still there and can take 3 to 6 months to dissolve. I have basically been left with an open ended appointment as it is too early to say what is going to happen.

Everything looks like it is healing fine but as he said its going to take time. If I still have problems passing stools i.e. painfull and blood then I will have to see a bowel specialist to see If I need further surgery.

The heavyness which I feel when being stood for a long time is normal at the minute.

If I what further children then it will be an elective c section as I will tear again in natural birth and the damage may not repair. As for the epidural which does seem to work on me, if I have a c section then they will try a spinal tap again if this fails it will be a general.

So as they said, its a matter of time

Oh blimey, you poor thing. The thought of having another child must be very scary for you right now.

We dtd Samsgirl and it was sore but the internal was worse.

It was like losing the big V all over again
