If it's any consolation, I haven't either for the same reason! Had to have an episiotomy and whilst it seems to have healed fine I'm really nervous about hubby going anywhere near there! x

OMG erin lol! poor rob and u lol! i did it when finley was about 4 weeks old i think. after havin 3 degree tare i was scred 2 and honestly didnt hurt 1 bit. strangley the 2nd time was tiny bit sore but nothing 2 shout about. weve done it loads since. and 2 be honest i think it feels better since havin finley ha ha!

I had an epis with ds1 and like you girls, I was terrified of dtd. after 6 weeks I had ny first night out with the girlies, came home bladdered and decided it had to be done. just so we could move on.

to be honest, it was the opposite of pain...I remained a little numb in that area for quite some time.

Dont worry, it will be fine xx

I had a tear and a cut and there was no pain when we did it at 6 weeks. Although I too was a bit scared at the time.
