HSG not anything like as bad as I expected

I just wanted to post, had my first HSG done this morning. was slightly freaked out as had read online of others saying it was very very painful. It really wasn't that bad, I had taken Ibuprofen and a tiny a small amount of my Mums diazapam (valium) as I was really worried it was going to be very painful. But actually it was fine and even better than that, my tubes aren't blocked so I am feeling really positive. Also read about quite a few ladies getting pregnant just after an hsg as it clears things out so here hoping...

I too had one after reading the horror stories online and mine was also very pain free and straight forward with no blockages

Unfortunately I didn't get a BFP after having my HSG but we're now 10days into our ICSI treatment so finally feel we're on the right track

Mine didn't hurt either and I do have a blocked tube! Hoping my lap won't be too painful either....good luck with everything xxx

That's a relief! Valium sounds like the way forward, ha ha!
