How Soon?

hi all, just wondering how soon you need to put your babies name down for a nursery place. i would be looking for a place starting from september 2008 so when should i start looking at nurseries and putting her name down.

I think it depends on the place you look at. The one near me has an 18 month waiting list for babies. I think you need to phone around and find out if they have a waiting list and how long it is etc. Here, the head mistress of my childrens school took the baby's name down when he was 6 months old ready to start school in 2010 which was quite shocking.
