How old and what does your baby weigh?

Isla was weighed today - she's 10lb exactly and is 8 weeks on Wednesday. She was 7lb 14oz at birth but went down to 7lb 6oz so she has gained 2 1/2 lbs since then.

I'm paranoid about her being too small - just been to a baby group and one of my friends has a 4 week old girl who is already 9 1/2 lb (she was smaller than Isla at birth). I know not all babies can be 'average' but I don't like it when everyone says, isn't she small etc. Mind you, I wouldn't like it if they said "isn't she big".

I get that Aswel Hun, the other day someone asked me how old she was i said 15 weeks they then went on to ask If she was premature as she's so tiny! upset me a bit really as Im sure people think i starve her x

Paige was weighed today and shes now 13lb 12oz so in a month shes lost 2oz

Ive got to go back in 2 weeks and get her reweighed. Im glad I didnt get her weighed last week as I would have paniced about her weightloss.

So she was born above the 25th centile, is now between the 2nd and 9th centile but her length is still on the 25th line.

I had Ella weighed 2 weeks ago and she was 14lbs (at 20 weeks old) compared to just 4lbs 12 at birth so her weight gain has been fantastic!

Tomos weighed 6lb 15oz today, and was 1lb 15oz when he was born. He is still below the 0.4th centile but is growing along his own line.
I can't believe he now looks like a normal sized baby and is getting very heavy to carry around in my arms.

Ella and Tomos have done so well!!! Wish Paige would get her weight up. I hate knowing that shes underweight. When we had to take her to hospital the doctors asked if she was underweight

I had Eva weighed today. She's 12lbs 7oz and will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. She is quite long for her age - between the 75th and 90th centile so the weight is perfect for her. Last Saturday night I went out with her and quite a few people were asking me "how many months old is she?" and I was like "Um she's only 7 weeks!" and cue exclamations of "ooh she's big isn't she!?"

It does make you worry, but I suppose if theyre happy we shouldnt worry :/ The hv looked all concerned but I explained she was ill, so theyre just double checking in a few weeks. Ive decided I want her to be 14lb 8oz in 3 weeks! Going to get her chubby cheeks back

Ah wow stunned! Shes going to be tall when she's older! Fab weight as well.

Melio I'm sure Paige will put on weight fine soon, but as long as she's happy in herself there's not much more you can do. I hate it when I take Tomos to be weighed and its someone different there as they always have like a concerned look and use this concerned tone of voice when telling me he's below the bottom centile and say 'oh we need to keep an eye on his weight' I'm like he's always been below the bloody line and do you think I don't know that I need to keep an eye on his weight!!! Aaarrrggghhh!!

im having Noa weighed friday again.
My wish is that he would be 11lbs14 atleast. He only put on 3 oz the week before so my aim is atleast 4 oz this week.

Tomos, Ella and Eva is doing really well! Paige will get there Hun, soon you will see them chubby sheeks again

I just got back from getting cahal weighed, he is now 17lb 13oz - bang on 50th centile and totally average bless him. He was on 25th centile when born (at 7lb 11oz) but jumped up to 50th centile in a massive growth spurt at 12 weeks

Noa has gone from 11lbs 10oz last friday to 12lbs today. i think that is good but HV still not that happy. So now i dont just have to wake him up diring his naps (did all last week) i also have to eat loads of snacks in the evening before i feed him, chocolate, cake, crisps, biscuits hard work hey

i stoped eating snacks as a new year resolution but i guess now is the time to break that (infact i have allready had a chookie bar today and it was lush)

My HV says should be an oz a day and 6 oz is brilliant Maisie dropped down to 6lbs 5 oz and now at 2 weeks is back up to 6lbs 13 oz

So far today she's had 1 breastfeed and 3 bottles so she's getting there! Im feeling quite emotional about Not breastfeeding today x
