How old and what does your baby weigh?

My Darcie was 7lb 12 at birth and last week at 6 weeks she weighed 12lb 3oz. She is forever feeding!

ZMD, Paige was 14lb at 23 weeks, so 12lb at 15 weeks doesnt sound bad to me at all. In fact, I think thats what Paige was, why are they concerned? Big mooses.

Paige will be getting weighed next Tuesday. I havent had her weighed in a few weeks and probably wouldnt go for a while but as she was ill last week I think her weight gain either slowed down or dropped as she looked like she'd lost weight so just want to check. Poor thing barely ate for a week.

well done charley! Noa only gained 3oz in a week, i have to go back next week, hv said she want me to bf him but try n wake him n feed him more often x

I think if he's happy then he should be ok! At least he is putting weight on! My friend has a 7month old and she's only 14lb and no one concerned about her! Also there was a baby at the doctors earlier who's 12 weeks and he still looks like a newborn!

Paige is off to the doctors about her chest in a minute as she's been throwing up her feeds today again. Looking forward to weigh in day to see how she's doing.

Noa sounds like a godo weight too. Like LM said, at least he's putting weight on. He looks happy and healthy so theyre probably being over cautious.

ZMD, I read your other thread and at least now they may have figured everything out. Hope shes alot more settled with food and starts piling on the lbs!

I read through some of the replies, and just wanted to note that I really struggled to bf both my babies, and my little girl took a full MONTH to get back to her birth weight. BUT - she was happy and content and I was so THANKFUL for my pediatrician to be so patient and helpful and not FORCE me to give her formula, that by the time she was a few months old my supply had caught up and didn't need any more formula to supplement. She is now a healthy, happy, smart, beautiful 2.5 year old.

I really think baby will let you know. My son SCREAMED nonstop as an infant - he was hungry - I had no choice but to supplement significantly with formula. They'll tell ya!

I've just had a read through and there's a real mix isn't there? I'm not worried some have gained a login short period and others have taken a while!they will all grow at there own rate and as long as they all happy and healthy xx

Blake was weighed at 10 weeks + 5 (just over a week ago as he's 12 weeks today) and was 12lb 10oz. He was 7lb 4oz at birth.

He's on the 44th centile for weight and 93rd for length.

Charley was 13lb 10oz at 12 weeks and on the 50th percentile. He still has 2-3 night feeds taking 6oz's at each time though so that's why he's a porker!

Isla was weighed today - she's 10lb exactly and is 8 weeks on Wednesday. She was 7lb 14oz at birth but went down to 7lb 6oz so she has gained 2 1/2 lbs since then.

I'm paranoid about her being too small - just been to a baby group and one of my friends has a 4 week old girl who is already 9 1/2 lb (she was smaller than Isla at birth). I know not all babies can be 'average' but I don't like it when everyone says, isn't she small etc. Mind you, I wouldn't like it if they said "isn't she big".
