How much formula

Just wondering how much formula your LOs are on at the moment? Angel is on 4 x 8oz bottles a day and 3 meals but I'm just wondering when you start decreasing the amount of milk and increasing the food? Bit confused about it all lol xx

Stanley is only having 2 x 8oz bottles and 3 meals a day! Sometimes he will have 3 bottles x

The SMA guidelines are 500ml-600ml a day from the start of weaning, as the food intake increases the milk will go down! 8oz is 240ml so Stanley is having just under some days. But I do mix some with his breakfast so guess that counts?? Do confusing thus whole weaning lark lol xx

Sorry Lauren- just asked u about feeds in my thread! Lol! I was thinking that it will just get less naturally as they eat more, so I will still offer the 8oz but if he starts taking less consistently then may b time to reduce amount and eventually drop a feed?

Yeah apparently it does count if you use a couple of ounces in food too. I thought about maybe dropping it to 6oz per feed and see how she gets on x

Hi James has 4 times 9oz bottles a day some times 2 9oz and 2 7oz depends in the day so any where between 28 and 36 oz a day plus good as we've begun weaning, before weaning began we were having 9oz bottles every 2 hours!!!!! Lol. Bur what ever oz of milk you put into food always count it xxx

Jax has 3 or 4 x 5oz bottles and 3 meals a day. I offer him 4 but he is naturally choosing to drop one himself more often then not. He has also reduced the oz himself too. He is still waking at night, usually 2 or 3 times and having 5oz each time then too!

I can't see how old ur bubba is but Owen is almost 11 months and is on 3 meals and 2 x 8oz (240mls) of milk per

At 7mths Jack was on 3x 5oz bottle a day plus 3 meals but he has never taken the avaerage amount of milk per day for his age so if you wanted to keep it as 8oz I reckon it's fine. She'll gradually drop bottles herself or you'll notice she's not hunry enough for food after her bottle when she gets a little older so you could drop the bottle for a light snack instead x

Albert's on 5x6-7oz and his last feed is 8-9oz, but he's nowhere near having solids yet. Do they do pint bottles for babies?
