How much do you spend on Gas each month?

We run out of Gas on new years day so OH had to drive around to find somewhere open, anyway we were in bed last night and it seemed very cold, OH checked the heating and we had run out of gas again, Thats £50 in 10 days. Its never been that high before and we havent used it more than what we have been doing?

I just got my quarterly bill from October - January and it wa £138 for Gas AND Electric I was rather shocked as we've only just moved in to this place In October and its 3 storey, we've had it on loads with the weather too. Chuffed to say the least - I'm with E-on

ours is a meter with edf and it was costing us £1 an hour for the heating to be on!!!
i now dont use the radiators i use my gas fire as we are only ever in the frontroom and it costs me 25p for the whole day.
i put the heating on 2-3am every morning just to heat the house threw.
washing machine 2 loads and tumbledryer 2 loads plus 1 hot meal cooked in a gas oven and grill costs 50p a day

I put away £40 a month for gas but Im also dreading the next bill because Ive had the heating on all day everyday for the past month!! Have to keep bubs warm though so I didnt really have a choice.

what companies you with for gas and electric. Could i have a faulty appliance? I cant understand how we have spent £50 in gas in 10 Days. I live in a normal size terrace house, but its always cold here.

We don't have gas My electrical bill for this quarter is going to be absolutely through the roof. If they remember to send me a bill that is, usually we get nothing and then a final notice

We're with N Power but on a meter, and usually put around £12-15 a week on it, although it's a lot less in the summer!

I've got a key meter and have put on £60 gas for December. Electric I've put on £50. In the summer I would probably reckon £20 for each of them for the month. The heating costs a fortune, we're in a small 2 bed semi and it's a cold house. The electric is so high as I'm using the tumble dryer more, would normally put everything on the line to dry. Also last year I would have been at work all day so wouldn't have had the heating on as much. We have a small oil filled plug in to the electric radiator for Connie's room overnight so I can turn the heating off as it keeps me awake making a racket and saves heating a whole house.

I pay £30 per month by fixed direct debit and get a bill every quarter but i'm always in credit.

I live in a mid terrace house wth 6 single radiators & 1 double (we don't have one in every room though). The heating gets put on around Sept/Oct and i don't normally turn it off until the weather starts getting warmer.

I also normally put the gas fire on for Lola when she gets out of the bath so she doesn't get cold while we dress her. It's only on for about 10 mins though.

I think the water might be heated by gas as well but i'm not sure

I also get about £100 discount each year in points as i work for my energy supplier

I do believe that prepayment meter's cost quite a bit more though. I only deal with business accounts so i'm not certain if this is true but it's is what i have been told.

We dont have gas, only electric... but I wish I did if you lot are getting both for £130ish for big houses!

We have a 2bed apartment and pay by set direct debit £192 a month In the summer we are always in loads of credit, but then it evens out come winter time.
