How many kids do you want?

I was always happy with just the one, until I met my DH - look at me now!!!

He is adament we are having more, although he hasn't had any contact with a newborn before,so may change his mind quickly!!

I asked him a few weeks ago what we were going to do next year to top this one. We first met in 2003, got together in 2004, married in 2005, LO is due 2006, so we've got to do something in 2007. His blunt answer was 'Oh, that's when the twins arrive!!!"

He did say last night that we had to have another 2 after this one as he already has the names picked out!

I always wanted 6 but now having 4 (eldest 18 and left home, youngest 7 months) - there is NO WAY ON GODS EARTH I am having any more. I was initially afraid of taking the decision not to have more - its the end of an era...no more being preg seemed to mean to me a lack of femininity...and would James grow up resenting us for not having similar aged siblings?...anyway I got over those issues. Of course it doesnt mean lack of femininity...I'm on 35 and plently feminine when I want to be...I don't need a baby to make me a woman. Happy with my brood and now to get on with the rest of my life

i voted 3 thats what iv got and thats what im sticking to! infact i have requested to be sterilised so theres gonna be no going back no matter how broody i get

I would like 2 but at the min our little owen is enough!

And I'd like the next to be a girl if poss, but it doesn't always work out that way I know.

We'll have to see what the future brings !!!!!!

i would like four too my Oh wants just two but doesnt want three cos he is one of three but i'll proabably persuade him but it just depends on how my second pregancy goes,

i voted 5 or more, i would like to have about 6 children (its a nice number i think) but probley wont have 6 (wud have 2 do a lot of persuding otherwise)

I feel more than blessed with Charlie, she is my world. I have a 6yr old SS too, so that will do me i think.
I feel very lucky to have the perfect little girl we have. OH would have many more, but Im happy with what we got. If any came about unexpectedly i wouldnt be deverstated though, but id keep my fingers crossed for another girl
