How many bottles do you have? (I have loads but i only use 3)

How many bottles does your little one take in a day? (mine takes 3 or 4)

When do you make up the feeds? the night before, the morning or as you need them? (I used to do it in the morning but I have now the night before)

I have ummm... 8 tommee tippee bottles and 4 Dr Brown bottles. We only use the TT ones now.

Becky has 5 7-8oz bottles a day, though has been more recently - sometimes up to one every 2 hours during the day!

We half fill all the bottles with boiled water in the evening and top them up with boiling water if we need them, then add the powder. If we're out I just take the right amount of water, the powder and she takes them at room temperature.

I got bottles comming out of my ears!! 6 TT ones that are used, (6TT ones that are brand new in box) two TT Nuby ones, two advent ones.

my LO has 5 bottles in 24 hours and I make them all up in the morning, and pop them in the fridge, heat them up as needed. :shhh:

I was wondering when people make up bottles too as I have been BF Emms but recently have been giving her 1 bottle in the evening to get her used to formula as she will be going to a childminder when I go back to work.

I had been boiling the kettle nearer the time for a feed and waiting 30 mins (as it says on the tin) and then making up the bottle. It is a bit of a chore - is formula milk ok to make up in advance and put in the fridge then?

We have 9 TT ones and 4 Dr browns, yes we went mad with the bottles..........lol.
I make up 4 in the morning and then make up another 4 around Teatime. We are still feeding on demand so sometimes he may only drink an ounce and we throw the rest away.

Current recommendations are that you don't do this because the powder isn't sterile and the moment you add the powder to the water bacteria start to multiply. Many people seem to do it without problems though (we prefer to do it the way I mentioned above).

We had 7 bottles but bought another 3 a couple of days ago. Faith is a snacker and she always has a bottle on the go meaning we get through quite a lot of bottles in a day. The amount she takes varies from 60 to 150 in one go.

Loz - we leave cooled boiled water in the bottles and just add the powder when she needs the feed - that way its room temp and doesn't need to go in the fridge or be heated up.

We have about 7 TT bottles. I just make the feeds up as and when throughout the day (was a bit of a chore at first but not so bad now). Bit of a pain when we are out and about as she's on the Easy Digest and the water needs to be really hot to thicken properly. I usually take a flask to make it up but then it takes ages to cool and I never time it right so end up with a grumpy hungry baby

We have 4 Avent bottles (260 ml) and don't need more as Louis is having 4 bottles a day (twice 240 ml and twice 210 ml). We can't make them in advance because he is on Cow & Gate Comfort for sensitive tummies and this formula needs to be mixed with very hot water (left to cool down no more than 15 minutes). We're used to it now so I have just to think about it 30 minutes before he is due for a feed (15 minutes to let the water cool down before adding the formula, then 15 minutes to let it cool down a little more).

I have 4 Avent bottles (1 large and 3 small.)

He has 4 bottles every day.
7am - 4oz
12pm - 4oz
4pm - 4oz
9pm - 8oz

I make up 2-3 bottles at a time when needed, with the readymade formula.

Bit older than your Kenzo, but Ryan has only ever had a morning and evening bottle since he started weaning. We've got 5 big bottles.

We have 10 Avent ones and lots of other kinds that we don't use. DD is exclusively on expressed breastmilk though so we tend to have 4 bottles in the fridge but can at times have as many as 6. But it's OK to keep the breastmilk in the fridge for a day or 2. The extra bottles means we don't have to keep washing each bottle as she finishes it, we only have to wash and sterilise once or twice a day.

ive got 20 lol 10 soft bottles and 10 normal we use about 6/7 of each a day
hard ones for storing heating the milk and soft to feed out of as you cant heat the soft ones :)
xx

I hae 9 Tommee Tippee bottles and 8 Nuby bottles lol. Ryan has about 7-8 bottles a day and i make up 4 in the morning and 4 in the evening

jayla only has two bottles a day. 1 big/medium in the morning and 1 big bottle in the evening.

9 bottles - 3 mothercare, 2 avent, 4 boots. He has 5 a day and i make them all up in the morning.

I had loads of Dr.Brown one as I won a bid on Ebay I didn't think I'd win and I did... :rotfl: Lil miss never used them in the end. We had a couple of small Avent ones to put her herbal tea in to help her colic, and we had a couple of TT CTN ones but by 4 months I'd made sure that lil miss only ever drank from a cup/beaker be it milk or water... :D So we now have 4 cups...
