do u think I should take for my hospital bag and will 10 pads be enough for an overnight stay will get hubby to bring stuff in if i need more.

Sorry. I have no answer haha but wanted to say I was wondering the same thing and have packed 5 pairs also x

oops I mean 10 maternity pads at the moment have 3 breast pads in packets the box I have they are not individually wrapped so dont fancy carting a big box around!

I've packed a whole box of 40 just in case x x

I never needed them at all last time around and I had a whole box of them with me... Although I BF my son for a year I never had a need for them. So I guess it really depends on the person.

ok cool thanks will take 3 pairs in and hubby can bring spares in I have the freebie ones from lansolin so they will do I hope!

hi
Breast pads-I didn't leak until my milk came in which was about 2 days I think so didn't need them til then, then I used loads, changed them after every feed and also had mega sore nips!!
Mat pads- they provided some but used A LOT! ended up being in for a few nights nad hubby brought more in.

i was going to say i used lots and lots of maternity pads think i used x2 packs of 48 mothercare ones from the moment my waters broke till i stopped bleeding. I'd take a good supply in with you as the hospitals are not quick at providing you with them, thats what i found. And breast pads - i took some in with me but never used them as i didn't leak until 2-3 days later. Hope this helps xxx

10 pairs of breast pads for an overnight stay may be a tad excessive!!

Maternity pads - I'd say take a pack of about a dozen. They do have them in the hospitals but they are never as nice as the bought ones. Tesco's own are brilliant value and do the job till things slow up enough to move to a heavy flow Always or similar.

No I got mixed up 10 maternity pads and 3 pairs of breast pads I have at the moment :wall2: I am well and truly baby brained!!

I'd take a full box hun, some people have more leakage than others !! ive been leaking since 16 weeks and it seems to be increasing now

i took a box of 50 and haven't used many - i didnt have to use any until 2 days after i had Harvey (i have given the unused ones to my pregnant friend)
