how long to wait after Cerazette pill

Hi there, I have been on Cerazette for 4 months and had terrible side effects...hair falling out, constant bleeding, my husband and I have talked about ttc and even though wasnt going to make the final decision until after Xmas, with all of the scarey stories about Cerazette and coming off it we decided to stop the pill last week......my question is, how long should we wait, I feel even though I wasnt on it for long, my body needs to get back to normal for a few months...any help or advice much apreciated xxx

Sheesh that pill gave you a hard time, eh! I ttc straight away after giving up that pill, but the effects took months to wear off. I'd say ttc now but don't expect instant results. I did and was driven nuts with it!

thank you for your reply, yes it's a nightmare and feel its going to take ages to get back to normal....Ive had every pregnancy symptom going this week....but have read that you get that when coming off Cerazette.....just have to wait and see xx

Wow didn't know it was that serious... I think i might not take the pill. This is scaring me a bit. Do most women get it that bad?

Various Pills have different side effects and it varies from woman to woman. Some can get no side effects, some get really severe ones. It's a question of working with your doctor to find which pill is the right one for you.

Hi, Just to let you know, I was on cerazette for about 1 year, I had some constant bleeding in the first few months then nothing. I read lots of the worry stories about cerazette and came off it in September 2012, thinking it would take ages for my body to return to normal and to conceive. I had lots of pregnancy symptons afterwards, but 35 days later I had my AF. 4 weeks later I was pregnant. I am 37, and clearly didn't think I would catch that quickly. Everyone seems to have different opinions about cerazette, I hope all goes well for you xx
