I have a question... How long have you been TTC before your BFP and how old were/are you?

31 years young and it took me a very quick 2 cycles - we decided to start trying in January, but it turns out it matters when you dtd (I have learnt a lot) so once i knew that there was no stopping me and my body seeing we caught on the 2nd month

We were definitely VERY lucky, on average, especially from what i gather on here it does take most woman a fair few more months, but you never know you might catch first go

First time every time.. I almost feel guilty writing that as I know there are many ladies on here that have been trying for so long. Myself & hubby must be super fertile & super lucky. Fingers crossed for you & fingers crossed for all other ladies TTC!

I’m 34 and have conceived first try three times, so been very lucky, but also a bit unlucky as the first two pregnancies resulted in miscarriage, first one never really got off the ground as started bleeding 4 days after my positive test, second one was a blighted ovum discovered as 10 weeks miscarried at 11 weeks, Third pregnancy - we only did the deed once the whole month, 2 days before my ovulation! this pregnancy is going well, currently 14+4

You have probably tried everything but just a little story about my sister in law. She was trying for 12 months and all her tests etc come back normal but just wasn't having any luck. She decided she was going to just start enjoying life again (booked a holiday, started going out drinking again) totally changed her mind set and kind of forgot about the whole TTC malarky and asif by magic she fell pregnant a couple of months later xx

I know, I totally credit OHs sperm rather then my own fertility, I don’t think I would have caught so quickly with a different man, sometimes it’s a combination of both partners together I think xx

The whole process still amazes me and i think always will

32 years old, currently 36 weeks pregnant with first baby. Took us 3 years to fall pregnant. We had basically given up and were waiting for IVF. It still baffles me that we could have failed so miserably for so long and then suddenly catch but here we are. I wouldn't wish LTTTC on anyone though. It really is miserable. I think to anyone just starting to TTC, I'd always say be prepared for it to take longer than you'd like but hope it happens quickly.
