Hi Ladies, bumps and baby's!

hope your all doing well?

Just thought i'd do a bit of a catch up thread, as haven't posted much on here lately...and have noticed a few new names too!

Well i'm official 34+4...and still need to buy the baby's buggy! :eh: lol

Have started buying bits for my hospital bag, but haven't packed anything yet! (too lazy).

I'm sleeping loads at the moment, but never go to bed that early (as you can tell lol)
Na seriously during the week days i go to bed around 12/12.30am, and get up with DS around 9.30/10am (he is a great sleeper)....but i'm really feeling tired lately so think come monday i'll start aiming for an 11pm bedtime :)

Also need to start sleeping during the afternoon's on Mondays and Thursdays whilst DS is at nursery for 5 hours,.... as i won't be able to once baby arrives.

Most nights i sleep ok, but the past few nights i've been waking up either being sick or the other (tmi) no idea why?!

My indigestion has calmed down a tad since the GP prescribed Zantac tablets, as the Gaviscon was not having an effect of a night (was fine in the day though!):wall2:

Had MW app on Monday and she said he is in the head down position but still free, and that he probably wont weigh much more than Leo (DS) who was 5lb 10oz at full term.

Still worried that this lil man will be nameless for a while as we haven't found a name we really like yet! :wall2: i did Like Louie, but think it may be too similar to Leo???& i like Jack, but OH thinks its too common :(

How are you all doing at the moment?? xxxx

Hi Lynz

I'm one of the new faces at 27+6. You sound v chilled out about everything! I'm a ridiculously organised first timer and plan to have everything purchased by 30 weeks when I want to pack my hospital bag! Next task on list is car seat.

I've been really well throughout - thankfully no sickness or pains really to complain of.

Also been sleeping really well (usually straight through from 11pm to 7am) apart from two nights ago when I was awake 3.45-4.15am then got leg cramp at 5.00am and never really slept well after that. Tonight I've been wide awake since 1.30am so wondering if mid-night awake periods are a sign of things to come? Maybe it's my body starting to prepare me for sleepless nights?!

Anyway nice to meet you - I like Louie by the way x

Hi Lynz ,

Lovely to hear from you, I had wondered where you had been hiding! Sounds like you've been a busy bee. Good for you having afternoon sleeps - i too had been doing this mon-fri, which I think has helped to re-energise my body somewhat!

Well my news is that I've had my 2nd sweep, which hasn't brought any labour signs on - only had around 4 shows altogether since having the procedures. So today is the day that I am off into hospital to be induced. I'm calling the ward at 8.30 to get an admission time. So if the gel is successful my bubba should be here later today or tomorrow  I'm quite nervous, but also very excited and looking forward to joining the Mummy club!

Speak to you soon chick xxx

hi I'm becky 30 weeks today with my 6th. what is sleep is all i can say, my 13 month old has been ill since beginning of december and not slept through since, even though he seems on the mend now, just alot of different things ear infections, chicken pox, a cold etc. he was sleeping out friday night so i could get some sleep but friend chose that day to go into labour lol and as i was her birthing partner no sleep again lol. may aswell get used to it now as i'll know what tired is when i have this little one. my eldest is 14 so i may give him £5 if he lets me to go bed when he gets up. hubby at work at all day.
