How do you use opk's?

Not ttc yet but want to see where my body is at. Looking to start to ttc in summer/autumn this year. Thanks in advance!xxx

We are hoping to have a go in June/July and will start ttc proper in October as my partner is away with the Army in between times I have started using OPKs to see if things are working. I tried with a cheapie internet brand but could never figure out the result so after two months jacked it and decided to buy clear blue. I start testing on day 10 fmu and every day thereafter and wait for my smiley face. So far two positives on CD17 and CD18 I thought that was a bit late but I go 10 days until AF so just in the bracket. Just got my smiley yesterday so fun begins next month. Good luck
