How can you tell if it's a chemical?

Well I finally had second blood taken and it's gone from 1006 to 8147 in 114 hours, that's a doubling time of 37 hours so all good there.
However after googling (I never learn) this is far too high for 4+6!
I'm getting another lot taken in 48 hours for a better idea xx

Hi that would be good! I don't think so as they were about the same numbers as when I had mc and there was only one then. I never got hcg test for my kids so not sure how it compares with successful pregnancys xx

Have you tries posting your numbers in tri1 to see what the ladies there think? I think it sounds good for you though, try and stay positive - I know it's hard

hcg levels have such a wide varience between pregnancies and between women! most tables you see have a very wide range for each week......try not to panic just yet they are doubling as expected and that's what is important at the moment.

Thanks jonesy I'm a bit more positive today, just wish this flipping spotting would go away! I can get a scan when I reach seven weeks, only another tww to go! Xx
