How are all you new mummies doing?

Well done Stanley. Now the fun starts Stacey :). I wish Joseph would learn to roll back as he is getting so frustrated once he gets onto his tummy. Kaedin he sounds like a twat and you are better off without him. xxx

Go Stanley! Emma did it properly the other day. From her back on to her tummy, then a minute later from her tummy to her back. Hasn't done it since though. Probably cause she rolled face first in to her bouncer :-/ whoops!

Jojo, growth spurt? Or catching up on his calories after the heat.

Kaedin, I always try to not judge people as there's always two sides to every story. But your ex sounds awful! Can you call his mum? Surely she wouldn't agree with what he's doing. I've got that monitor. Not sure if you can use it just for sound. But you may as well use for movement too as it's got the mat. Just needs a bit of cardboard or thin wood with holes drilled it to provide a flat base.

Emma finally sat unsupported for a while today, then she tried to crawl! She got on the her hands a knees then face planted.

It's just taken us 2 hours to get him to sleep too... I just feel like I'm doing an awful job :(

Jojo don't feel like that! It's an age old saying that babies are all different. Isn't Emma a few weeks on from luke too? (Can't see tickers anymore on taptalk) tomorrow is a new day.

Well done Stanley and Emma!! :-)

Don't be daft Jo your a fab mummy we all have days where we think like this I worry about Macie because she doesn't really reach out n grip things yet but all babies are diff n luke looks like such a happy little boy. Tbh it's taken me she's to settle m again it's the heat tho she hates being hot n it's saying it's 24 in her room I'm going to have to get a fan Tomo xxx

Jojo he isn't behind at all. Joseph has been rolling onto his tummy for a couple of weeks. He sits for about 30 seconds unaided before he goes to one side. You are doing a fantastic job please don't doubt yourself xxx

No Jojo, Luke is doing well. Emma probably won't remember how to sit up by tomorrow. No more rolling here either!lol

Emma is a week older. He beats weight on legs if you hold his hands and makes steps but he doesn't roll over and just gets so frustrated with funny time. I saw someone in fb today and their baby can feed then self and Luke can't :( it just feels like he should be further on and I just feel like crying because everyone else's baby seems further on than mine and I must be doing things wrong :(

Honestly JoJo, Luke and you are doing fine. NHS development chart says sitting unaided is usually 6-8 months, so no need to worry. All babies develop different skills at different speeds so try not to compare his progress against other babies x

I always feel like this jojo because Maddie doesn't teach and grab things yet when other babies her age can, no signs of rolling. She's still all fists and won't open out her hands the majority of the time so I'm worrying but it is true that all babies develop differently

Macie is exact same as maddie Sophie but it is true they all develop at diff rates! She rolls over to her front but only in her cot it must be her mattress! Today she proper laughed for the first time which I adored spent the rest if the day trying to get her to do it again with no luck!! Xxxx

Jojo please don't worry it was one of the main things we had to try to get parents out of at nursery, every child really is different n all do things at different rates. He will get there bless him in his own time. It is certainly no reflection on you As a mummy u r doing a great job. It's so hard not to but please try not to compare coz it really doesn't matter.

I feel like this too at times jojo

Oscar hasn't rolled and I worry he's behind :( but I have to remind myself babies Arnt textbooks and it's important he does his milestones when he's ready - chin up xx

I think I'm just having such a stressful night - sometimes it's like he doesn't even like me :(

Scarlett hasn't rolled or sat up, still not 100% in her wee seat thing but I'm not worrying, I will if I'm still having the same chat in a few months ;-) don't stress hon x

Honestly Jojo don't worry. From having the older two, every baby is different. If I showed you the video you would laugh. She was born 17th feb, so 2 weeks older isn't she?

I had one baby who was properly talking as in whole conversations by the time he was 18 month, then the next was approaching 3 and couldn't string 2 words together. I must admit I was getting quite worried, but the funny thing is she's now the smart one.

Yeah 2 weeks - thought it was 1. The most like has done is stopped himself falling with his hands. I just feel like I always fail so I'm bound to fail at this.
