How are all you new mummies doing?

Oh god maybe that's what's wrong with me. I haven't been on my pill this month still and feel really hormonal!

Silly men!

I've had a nice weekend staying with Hayleys dad, takeaway on Friday night then he made us pizza from scratch last night, he's been at work since 7 so a quiet morning for me and Hayley. Far too snowy to be out and about

Would love to be out and about in the snow!!

We had 3 minutes of snow yesterday. About 20 snow flakes.lol. It's freezing today, b no sign of snow :-(

I can't understand anyone wanting snow lol it's pretty to look at but hellish to go out in lol

Depends if your prepared for it and like it or not?

Off road buggy - check
Lots of quality thermals - check
Live right by Mother Nature - check

It's only hellish if you don't like it ? I love all things snow - that's why I guess I pay 1000s to ski

I hate winter, the cold, snow, slush, ice and it gets dark so early. Would happily move somewhere sunny when I win the lotto haha

Hayley has had red cheeks on and off, but she's been teething so I assumed it was that but since yesterday her cheeks are getting spotty. Is that a symptom of teething or something else? She's been in a great mood, no fever or grumpiness so wasnt sure if itd warrant a trip to the drs,

Thomas gets spotty flushed cheeks and a rash round his mouth when he's teething!

I dislike the country when it snows! Everything comes to a halt because britain can't deal with it. We had frost this morning & got to otherside of town & there's snow...roads haven't been gritting so driving conditions are atrocious! Lack of grit boxes. Everyone goes mad & buys essentials like they're not going to get to the shop for the next 3 months. It's crazy!

ah yes - I dislike the country too

BUT I don't dislike the snow?

No gritters? Your council need to have a word with theirself! :(

IIRC someone on here is a dental nurse? My dentist recommended I have an old, large filling replaced by an inlay/onlay while I have my maternity exemption, as it is at risk of cracking in the future and would cost a lot to replace at that point. I am booked in for the first appointment, but my OH has put me off by telling me they will drill away most of my tooth and it's going to hurt a lot. I already put it off for several months and now am considering just cancelling the appointment as I am only having it to save money in the future and don't want a major procedure. Any advice?

They do indeed! It was the same Boxing Day!

Jen's a dental nurse

I walk to work. It's a 20 minute walk and we have to take disabled clients out and push wheelchairs lol that ain't fun.

I think snow is petty to look at but horrible to be out in / it turns to slush and it's just horrible- nice if you don't have to go out in it.

Skiing is different completely to normal day to day functioning

Ah glad it's just teething and not something else x

The streets up my way haven't been gritted at all, the pavements are a sheet of ice so I won't be going any walks until it goes

It's been snowy here too!
Chris went away yesterday for his mates 40th just got back an hour ago and is asleep on the sofa! Wish he'd Just go to bed so I can have the corner bit of the sofa :|

Ladies who buy pampers. Is there much difference between active fit & baby dry? Anyone have any preference. We've used baby dry for a while now with no problems but curious about the difference when they're priced the same
