How are all you new mummies doing?

Adorable.
Luke has decided 6am is his new wake up time. I miss his 8am wakes lol

Question... A friend just told me she puts whiskey on her babues gums (5months) to numb her pain... Another told me she used gin! ... Am I being incredibly judgemental by saying I think that's an awful idea!?

I think I'll stick to bonjela lol!

Oh she won't use bonjella... No that's "dangerous" as it can cause babies throat to numb and effect swallowing.

I'm sticking to his teething gel. I feel your pain JOJO. Joseph has decided the same thing. Hubby is on 10-10 all week so isn't getting in until 11. by the time we eat and wash the dishes it is time for Josephs bottle x

I'd never use alcohol in my baby's mouth so yes keeping to gel

That's crazy, least bonjela is thick so you can make sure to only put it on the affected gums....whereas baby would end up just drinking the alcohol :wall2:

Thanks ladies! I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures! I'll end up spending a fortune to buy printed copies of them all!

Aw she's gorgeous kaedin!

Def will stick to bonjela here!

Maddie slept 10 til 10 last night!!!! Kept going in this morning to poke her check she was ok lol

Well done Maddie!!

I'm just getting ready to take Hayley to her 2nd Bounce & Rhyme class. Think she'll enjoy it more this week :D

The whole alcohol thing is an old old old teething remedy!!

Bedtime routine wise I don't think we got Thomas properly into one until he was about 12 weeks old we started earlier than that but it didn't become consistent until then. Now we're pretty much spot on very night and he normally sleeps through till 7am from being put down at 9.30pm.

He doesn't want to sleep earlier than that right now but we'll eventually bring that earlier. We only bath him every other night or if he's had a really messy day. I use frankie frog and put the waves on with his dummy and that usually does the trick.

Luke is playing with his mamas and papas toy ... Likes it but is now trying to roll around the follow on it lol he's got his legs up in crawling position and keeps rolling forward on it lol

Aw they are gorgeous kaedin. Think I'll defo stick to bonjela haha. Just had our baby group and for once S stayed awake! She's normally very rude and has a nap ;-) x x

Note my swollen bruises foot from falling down the stairs last night after cats knocked a ton of airfareshner onto stairs
- not fun!!

Omg Jojo, not another fall!

I'm def gonna get one of those roll things. Did you buy the mat too? We've got wooden floors. I've been putting a thick blanket down, but it always ends up bunched up in the corner. Need to buy a proper mat.

No that's from something I got given but I think they got it at home bargains! So comfy! And there's little buckles under it to attach the crossing bars to

Just been to the hv drop in and got Ellie weighed she's following perfectly just under the 50th line and I've been going every week.

They asked about feeding to which she has 4oz every 3 hours give or take. Most nights she won't settle in her bed till 11.30 or midnight and then wakes around 4am then 7am. But as I mentioned earlier she had a wopping sleep for a couple of nights on thurs, fri and sat and we tried getting her tucked up earlier with no luck so resorted back to 11pm yesterday and she slept from 12-8am. I was happy with that but after telling the hv she made out it was bad as her sugar levels were probably too low hence not waking!!! But she seemed fine and was happier this morning than most too.

Should I be worrying and waking her to have a bottle? I dont want to encourage it as so far I've let her follow her own thing :s

I personally wouldn't worry, Isabelle is sleeping 10-6 without a bottle in between and she wakes up happy as anything! She's been doing this since she was 5 weeks and is now 8 weeks and a happy baby! (Well apart from having her jabs today :( ) xxx

Also jojo Luke is gorgeous! X
