HG and NVP thread

Kanga sounds not very nice experience with Harry. I really respect u for wanting to try natural again I'm petrified and I haven't even done it once yet! Double buggy sounds like fun! What buggy did u get with Harry. Jem have u decided on buggy yet? We have decided to do the nursery Beatrix potter style so looking for Peter rabbit and jamima puddle duck things ATM! Have either of u decided on the nursery yet? Xxx

Hi ladies haven't been around as feeling so much better now but have popped on from time to time to see how you all are. Sorry you are all still suffering but yay for good scans etc! Really intrigued to see if we all have girls, mummy midwife reckons we are! Kanga, are you finding out? We are staying team yellow xx

We have the baby jogger city mini for Harry and will probably get the double version if we get one.

We aren't doing too much nursery wise as we rent and not 100% sure how long we will be here as everything is up in the air at the mo! not really sure where we stand and could be out before baby is even born.

We are staying team yellow too hoping for no2, so got til the end of Sept to find out, I'm thinking boy again for me though.

I'm feeling pretty crappy still today, my fault for saying I was feeling much better lol feeling nauseous on and off and keep feeling like I need to run to the loo to be sick. Got work tonight and tomorrow night, so not longer forward to that really especially if I'm still feeling sick. Hoping to go for a nap in a bit with Harry and wake up feeling better, well one can hope lol

How is everyone else? xx

So just got back from looking at prams and we have decided on the silver cross. It's really light and easy to fold. Looked at others found I candy to heavy. So we will buy that closer to the time! Exciting! Hoping for no 2 glad ur feeling much better now I keep saying oh next week il start blooming sadly not! But have accepted it now! It will be really interesting to see what ur two babies are if we are having all girls just proves the theory that sickness is worse with girls! How r u feeling today jem? Sorry kanga u feel poorly today it's hard when u have to pull it together and go to work when all u want is to go to sleep. Xx

Hey everyone. I have returned to work, doing shorter shifts and no early starts and I work 2 or 3 days a week so it's working for me. They have been great which I know I am very lucky for. My sickness has calmed down, thurs was a bad day and OH had to come home from work. We went into town this morning as abi needed some new shoes for nursery and as it's warmed up needed to get a few spring clothes for her. OH took us for a carvery after, it was lovely as I really can't stand the thought of cooking veg. Well cooking anything that requires effort. We had a lovely few hours, but now I'm layed on the bed feeling cold and exhausted. OH wanted to look at baby things in asda today but apart from feeling rubbish most of the time I don't feel pregnant. I've lost weight, got no hint of a bump and worst of all my friend who is pregnant is breezing through it. So frustrated! xx

Feeling rather sorry for myself this evening, work in less than an hour and I feel worse than I did this morning! Was so hoping I was on the other side with having some good days like I did with Harry but it seems determined to stay longer this time. Hoping I can take it easy at work xx

Hey girls sorry haven't been in touch over the wkd! My friend turned up on Friday with a massive bunch of flowers and chocolates, her and hubby had arranged the surprise visit as don't see her much, I was in tears when she walked in, just the medicine I needed.

I havent had a good weekend. I'm exhausted and have been getting very painful period type paid under bump and lower back, I don't know What they are but they take my breath away, happened when I went with hubby to take dog for walk, stopped when I sit down. Any ideas?

Yeh me and hubby have chosen the silvercross wayfarer. Buying it next month! Have u chosen the same?

How is everyone doing today? Xx

Hey Steffy how r u now? Sorry to hear ur still suffering have u managed to get out this wkend?
Kanga it's typical when I think u are starting to feel better and then it hits u again. How was ur shift?
Jem so pleased u got to see ur friend that's so nice when u haven't seen each other for a whie a real pick me up! Yes we went for that one to in beige. We tried icandy out but it felt really heavy compared to silver cross. Sorry u feeling tiered now tho. I had a horrible turn last night was out having a drink with hubby and all of a sudden literally felt like was about to pass out. Haven't felt like that before today I'm just really tiered. Not to sure about the pains Hun is it just today that's it's happened or all weekend? Maybe call midwife if it hasn't settled tomo xx

Jem they sound like round ligament pains, have a google, perfectly normal but so painful, I've already started to get them :( it's just everything stretching to carry baby around. Nice of your friend to drop by to see you, must gave been nice even though your feeling exhausted.

Keeptrying the dizzy spells are horrendous aren't they? I've had a couple of dizzy spells like that, just take it easy and drink up when they happen.

My shift went ok last night, took a double dose of my meds though and put on my anti sickness wrist band things. Managed to sleep 7-1:30, so had 6 1/2 hours and due back to work in 10 mins :( So tired today and feelng quite sick after eating KFC for dinner. Won't be so lucky with sleep tomorrow though as it's just me and Harry. Got so many jobs to do too, washing up pots/clean kitchen, loads of clothes washing and clean out the rabbits! Not sure I will find the energy to do all of it tomorrow though.

Exhaustion seems to be a common theme now, I remember it well from last time. I used to just sleep work nap eat sleep for weeks, all normal apparently. xx

Hey keeptrying, same here the sand one? I also like the purple but sand one looks quite classy I thought and haven't seen one out and about which I like
They are expensive tho ain't they.

How many weeks are u now? I started having funny dizzy pass out turns from about 20 weeks and midwife said it's very normal at that stage although very unpleasant.

It happened the other Day too when I went for walk, I literally have to stop and hunch over.
Today I was squatting on the ground in tears but then it passed and came back when I walked abit further, as soon as I sat and rested in went! Will ask consultant at my appointment on Tuesday, also Guna say about these iron tablets im on, they actually make me feel worse than the anaemia they are awful things!

Xxx

So kanga do u still think it's a boy or now it's been going on for so long a girl?! Any inkling? I'm 22 weeks now Jem it's reassuring to know u both have had it. I really didn't like it it scared me being out of control. Yes we went for the sand colour to and same reason thought it looked really classy. When's ur consultants app? Xxx

The dizzy spells are unpleasant, just sit down and rest as soon as u feel one coming on!

I can't wait to get mine, I found that ide have to buy the carseat separately tho as they don't come with pram package.

My appointments tomo at 10:30, not looking forward to it.

Xx

Hi ladies, can I sneak in? I'm a bit of a fraud really, as don't have HG yet, but with my little boy I had HG from 6-21 weeks, he's now 9 months & I'm unexpectedly-expecting again, & nausea begun yesterday at 6+3, still no vomitting yet so I'm already doing better than the first time round, but thought I'd pop my head in just in case! X

hey saralouise, ofcourse! oh bless you, u think its the beginning of HG again? theres a couple of women on her who are on their second pregnancy and suffering again so you've come to the right place!

xx

To be honest keeptrying, I think I change my mind everyday lol I still think mainly boy but then the girl thoughts creep in, its quite exciting not knowing I think. Although still got 4 weeks to change my mind before 20week scan.

I'm sure your appt with the consultant will go fine jem.

Hey saralouise, I snuck into the group around 5 weeks when my sickness started as I was so sure I was going to get hg again and I was right. It has actually been worse 2nd time around though and still going at 17 weeks, mine started easing around 15/16 weejs last time and still waiting. I think its harder with having a toddler to look after as you cant just rest when you want. Hope it doesn't get worse for you though.

I feel like absolute crap today, worked til 6:15am, came home and had to help settle harry as he was crying so didn't get to bed til 7am and Harry was already stirring again by 8am. Managed to stay in bed til 10:30am! So he must have fallen back to sleep, feel so bad that u couldn't wake up. So exhausted I feel so sick and like I could be sick if I move :( fed up!! x

I was was sure mine was a girl the whole time do t know why just an instinct I guess! Does ur hubby want to know? It would be exciting if u didn't as I can imagine it makes labour a bit more bearable!
Hi saralouise course u can join in Hun. Mine started around the 6 weeks too and still going at 22 weeks, so we can all sympathise with u and feel ur pain. Jem I know that's the only thing with it it's an extra £130 for the car seat which is a lot. I have just resigned myself to the fact that it's going to cost me! I can't wait to get mine either but think il wait til 30ish weeks. Hope rhea and dolly is doing well I still can't believe she's already here! It must be weird for u Jem as u were same stage? Could u imagine having the little one already?! Xx

keeptrying ive just found a website where they are doing a offer on the wayfarer...www.babybirds.co.uk
it comes with the carseat and adapter, ive also emailed company seeing how long the offer is on for.

no I really cant imagine having her here now, I was laying in bed this morning and could see her whole body move from one side to the other, even seeing that it still hasn't made it hit home that im going to be a mummy in 10 weeks!!!

xx

This is amazing!! Really good saving! I might buy it now seeing it as it only lasts til end of April. R u going for it? Have u seen any reviews on the company? Xx

I just called them they seem ligit enough they said they have had 45 orders this week already. Think il order it and put it on credit card incase anything happens they say deliver 4-6 weeks xx

I emailed them and they replied pretty much straight away, my parents are buying us the pram and they had planned to do it about 36 weeks but im going to have to ring my mum and tell her about this deal!

it comes with everything, the adapter and all doesn't it.

xx
