here we go again!!

Toon just read this, hope he stays put for a bit longer - they gave me steroids at 34 weeks too when I had that UTI that was threatening labour. Can imagine how fed up you are so big  xx

Hey toon, only just caught up on the thread.....hope ur ok hun :)

Lets hope Lucas stays put a bit longer eh ??

xxx

Heya Toon
Only just seen this thread  so hope you're doing ok. The sickness could well be coming from the codeine - it makes me feel a bit queasy when I take it for migraines (and that's just an over-the-counter-with-paracetamol dosage) so  that it's only just that.

Hope Lucas decides to settle down a wee bit for you...go on, baby, sleep for a bit!

Like Mamafy said, I would ask for the steriods too. I had them at 28 weeks when I started what they thought was prem labour but luckily stopped.

big  hun, you'e having such a rough time of it :(

 hang in there hun.. hope you are ok today x

thanks everyone i really appreciate everyones support. I phoned the hospital again and they said the usual, warm bath and pain killers. If the contractions become regular again to call back. I'm not taking the codein no more, its vile stuff and makes me feel crap. They are still waiting for my swab and urine results from Thursday......how long do these things take like!! xx

Only just seen this Toon, its all happening eh? It really annoys me when you are waiting for results and they are in no rush to get back to you!

Hope Lucas stays put for a bit longer hun xxxxx

I hate the way those strong painkillers make you feel.... :(

x

i'd rather be in pain to be honest. I know i have missed getting drunk but jesus wept, them pills send me into a spinny coma of stoopidness, and they really irritate my stomach. xx

aww it sounds like your midwives keep telling you to do the saaaame thing i bet that's well frustrating! and the results!! it'd be nice to know whats happening. lol. stupid nhs! well i hope that Lucas feels like staying warm a bit longer but if not i hope all will be ok, we're here for you! as you know i'm sure hehe :D xxx

I am now that those vile tablets have worn off. Thanks for asking chick. I'm feeling alot more comfortable actually so i am just hoping that i won't have any more palava until he is cooked and ready for launch. Sayin that like, nowt i do is ever simple, so i should expect more drama, i bet my waters break in the school yard or something  xx

Lol, lets hope those waters stay in tact for a few more weeks! Try and put your feet up, fingers crossed for no more drama. Really glad stopping those tablets has made you feel better x

Aww Toon, what a palava!!

Its so frustrating, I had a similar experience with Grace, at 34 weeks I started having contractions went into hospital just monitored me for a couple of hours, gave me paracetamol and mentioned that if it continued that they would have to give steroids to mature baby's lungs - I decided to go home as I was coping ok with the pain just wanted to know that my baby was ok. Contractions lasted about 2 days and nights (every 5 - 10 minutes) and then they just stopped thankfully. The labour ward were convinced I would be back in that evening but luckily that didn't happen.

The doctor said he thought I had eaten something which hadn't agreed with me which had then irritated my uterus causing it to contract.

Fingers crossed Lucas stays put for a little while longer x x x

Ahh Toon just seen this, poor you I'm sure you'r right fed up! Glad ur feeling a bit better, hope things ease off and little Lucas becomes a little more patient for you  xx

Hope things settle down hun. Youve had a tough couple of days.
Hope the sickness has gone, only thing codeine is good for is giving you constipation! (not good for the preggy piles!!)
Take care chick. (Not online tomorrow but will be back to check on Wed.) x

 Glad you got checked out and everything is ok. Hope you're managing to get lots of rest x

I'm actually getting quite good at this resting malarky, I have OH running around after me :) All i've done since thursday is washing really but now i have a beastly pile of ironing to do and i will not let OH anywhere near that. xx
