here we go again!!

Getting mild contractions again, every 8-10 mins. I am reluctant to ring the hospital as on thursday it all stopped after a few hours and i felt like a tit, infact i was in two minds whether to do this thread or not coz i'm starting to feel like the girl who cried wolf!

OH is at the pub so if anything prgresses were screwed for getting to the hospital anyway. I'm feeling really fed up right now, i can just see this going on for weeks now.

What do i do? xx

toon, ring the hosp. just to bee on the safe side hun its their job, dont feel daft if you ring them and they stop, its better than you not ringing and them not stopping! how long've you been contracting for? keep us updated hun xxxx

had niggles all day but they have been regular for about 2 hours. I just rang my sister (she's a student MW) and she demands i ring the hospital, i best be a good girl and do what i'm told xx

If you have no transport and they ask you to go in, could you ask them to organise you something? We used to organise taxis and things for folk when I worked in the hospital, most of them will have a taxi contract.

the MW said to try a warm bath and if things don't settle in an hour or two to ring back and they will want to see me. My sister said she will drive us to the hospital (bless her she lives 14 mile in the other direction) so were sorted for transport. This sounds so daft but i really hope it all stops, i cant be arsed to go to the hospital and i certainly don't fancy having a baby just yet xx

I was like this with Katie, sure I was in labour at 35 weeks on the dot, had a show and everything. I went and got checked and they kept me as I was showing contractions She was born 5 days later after thinking I wasn't in labour again and being told I wasn't an hour and a half before she was born

Glad you got your lift sorted, defo go if this continues. Change position, get up and walk about. If they're getting worse you'll know as you'll have to stop to catch your breath as you walk. If they're bh's they'll ease after a few hours

hey toon i hope you're ok! glad you ended up ringing them and don't feel nervous or owt about it! it's their job to look after you and if they give you any attitude don't take any notice of it, if they don't like their job they should've never taken it should they!!! tell us how your bath goes and if you need to go hospital if you get time xxxx

p.s while i'm here.. i was wondering anyone.. what do the contractions feel like? this is just me generally being nosey as i'm in third trimester now with my first and getting a bit scared!

Been in the bath for ever and when i was getting dried there was a huge blob of jelly on the towel no blood just clear shite. Still getting pains about every 7 mins but there not getting any more or less painful. Lucas is goin mental so i am thinking he is irritating my uterus (or thats what i am hoping). Just trying to chill out, listening to some music while wandering around, fingers crossed it all stops coz House is on sky 1 in 15 mins and by god i am watching it, lucas can just wait xx

p.s while i'm here.. i was wondering anyone.. what do the contractions feel like? this is just me generally being nosey as i'm in third trimester now with my first and getting a bit scared!

Kinda like period cramp but i get it more in the back as all my boys have been back to back. Your belly goes all tight and and kinda takes your breath a bit. There so hard to describe, you just know xx
