Ok so I'm breastfeeding my baby girl, she is 11 weeks.

My problem is she isn't going any great length of time between feeds and I feed her till she is done. Can barely make it to an hour and a half let alone two.
She stares at my boobs a lot and smiles and gets obsessed with getting them, sometimes she hasn't long been fed. Is there any way I can try and get her to go longer.

I'm going to start weaning her onto formula next month and I'm dreading it

She's probably going into her growth spurt and this sounds get normal. An hour and half is sometimes all I get between feeds and my boy is over 4 months. If you can then just go with it, she must love your mummy milk. Xx

She is boob daft, stares at my friends and smiles at them too. I'm thinking it might be a growth spurt to be honest. Just down from feeding her and she's drained 2 4 & 1/2 oz bottles. She normally has one, she gets a breastfeed from me not too long before bath, then has cuddle and play with daddy, I bath her and then give her a expressed bottle then she goes to sleep at the back of 8 and that's normally her till morning, we'll see how she goes. I'm just worried I'm doing something wrong and that's why she feeds so much during the day.
Going back to work soon which is why I'm weaning her onto formula next month.

She's just a hungry girly. Your best bet is always to let her feed on demand. Its only a few months isn't it then your boobs will be your own once again :) xx

My boots start their journey to being my own next month. Yeah Ile just keep doing that, she gets a few naps during the day so they get a break then. Well the right one anyway, the left one never sees great cos it's so badly damaged so I express off that one xx

Yeah, she's coming up to classic growth spurt time :) when babies hit a growth spurt, they feed more frequently to ensure they have the milk they need. It can start days before. She's just doing what is normal and natural :)

She is 12 weeks on Tuesday. I'm just panicking about stuff too much, I'm a first time mum and this is all so new to me. I fed her at twenty past ten last Sunday, by ten past 11 she was trying to root off me in the middle of mass and screamed all the way through. She can playing happily on her mat not long after a feed, spots my blobs and becomes obsessed with them. Have to face her away from me during rhyme time

We have just been through a massive growth spurt and my LO was 12 weeks yesterday hun. Sounds like you are going through same thing. Don't worry about it just feed her when she needs it. My LO fed like a nutter for 4 days then it's died off today xx

Apparently at about 3 months they become more interested in stuff around them and aren't so obsessed with feeding, but I doubt that'll happen with her. I can't lie her in my arms to settle her, cos she just roots, hungry or not.

It may not sound like it but I love breastfeeding, I just worry that I'm doing it all right.

Sounds like a growth spurt as everyone has suggested so it is not surprising she is cluster feeding.

Bethan is 4.5 months and still feeds every 2 hours during the day for no more than 5 mins at a time. I've given up trying to space it out. It's just her way, she's efficient and greedy!

Fortunately she's good at night time and only wakes once, sometimes not at all, so it could be worse

Sounds like a growth spurt Hun. It wasnt until we introduced solids at 6 months that C started going any longer than two hours. Xx

She was a bit calmer with her feeds today so Ile see how she goes, but see to be fair she sleeps all night so I would rather she does that and feeds every few hours during the day
