as u know Greg was born 35+1.they are trying to do breast stimulation to encoutage milkproduction and so im doing this gash massage to do to.my bobbies and then hand expressing. i got (well nurse did) 0.1ml yesterday from the left boob but the right one zilch all day. barely.even got wet. can anyone help woth some reassurong words. for some reason i REALLY want to booby feed him. eben if its just once or twice but it means A LOT this time.

anything i am doing they are giving him in his wee tube but i really wan tthe closeness probs cos iv not had him here with me.

anyway im rambling. any news?!?

It's going to take a few days, just down to the events of the past few days, try not to stress, get loads of flapjacks in, get lots of pictures, spend as much time with him as you can, hand express/pump frequently and it will get milk coming. Does the hosptial has a laction consultant, breastfeeding supporter (as their role) that you can tap into to for support and resources?

thanks lovely . sat here cryjng now. tried to hand express and a litrle is coming like 0.1ml ...and right boob nothing. just feelnso humiliated sittinf there squeezing my booby and nothing really happening and some mw woman tryinf to suck it up........ the mw woman who was here. just left me to cry .... and now im feeling sorrybfor myself lol....oh what a mess.....oh is here soon were gonna go down and spent all our time down there today

Ask for a sterile pot to express into and that they don't measure it in front of you or before you have finished if they are making you feel that way. It will take time but for now you are doing fantastically hun have lots of cuddles linkwith OH. ask for any of the blankets they have been using for LO or even better get 3 soft blankets from home and rotate them... One on baby. One with you and the other in the wash... Snuggle with it when you are expressing... With the pictures

thats fab afbuce rowesweb.... he doesnt have any blankets atm cos of the incubayor but will be fixing out something of mine to go in or aroind the cot...if notjing jist for him. its a self pressure. jist want to do bettrr than last time lol...probably woild ve surviging better if my roght boob did sometjing other than sit there

Hun, you had an emergency section, i had a natural labour and only got 0,1-0,2 ml of colostrum.
As hard as it is, you just need to persevere with expressing/massage etc, anything you age giving him is liquid gold. Actual milk can take a while to come in, for me it was day 4. You are doing great getting any colostrum, just keep going hun

Sounds just like my start sweetie I was getting zilch!

Massage constantly and express a minimum of every three hours.

Your milk will come in, be patient an strong! You can do this!!! Xx

Oh Hun it is still so early on for you just hang in there you are already doing the best you can. Tiny amounts of colostrum are liquid gold. Milk can take a little longer with a C sec to come in but it will. Try to relax as that can affect your supply. Xx
