HELP! Spiders!

So iv had 3 HUGE spiders in my house in the past week.
Not small ones, big black hairy ones who run so quick.
Euuurgggh *shudders*.
Me n my partner split up 2 days ago so now i have to deal with it on my own as he used to get them.

I just had one on my stairs and i ended up standing on a chair while throwing cookery books at it and spraying fly killer on it until i got it whilst blubbering my head of, i hate them so much.

does anyone else hate them and how do you deal with them when you get them as i live out in the country so think ill be getting loads :'(

I have to deal with ours, OH is scared of them lol

I put a big old plastic pint glass sized cup over it.
Make sure the window is open.
slide a postcard under the cup to trap it.
Slide a coaster under the postcard so the postcard doesn't bend and let spider out!
Hold it all together and then tip poor spider out into the cold night air.......

I don't think i could ever be that brave lol. the closest i will ever get to one is a arms length away.
although i have held a tarantula before but i think, if house spiders didnt run so fast they wouldnt be half as scary, they just run like there running to get you lol

I hoover them up.... mostly they don't bother me, but they bother my mum so when i lived there if the hoover was out, i'd zap it! We had a dyson, so i got to watch it run round the inside for hours. Kept me and my brother amused

only thing with the hoover is a. im scared as soon as i turn it on and its a loud noise itll start running andf i hate it when they run and b. theyll crawl back out! lol

Did you know you can call a taxi firm, as if you were calling a taxi, to come get rid of spiders! U can round here anyway xx

Im lucky I spotted it..the ******* was headed for my shoe cupboard, I saw it shoot across the hallway, you're right they are pretty bloody quick lol

I just ran to kitchen grabbed a glass and braved it lol...I live alone (with my little 3 year old) so I had to do it otherwise Ill be worrying about it all night!! It was hideous!! That glass in the pic is only slightly smaller than a pint glass...eurgh hideous!!

Eeeeek jaz that is huge I just killed one about 2 mins ago, squished with loo roll then flushed away. I'm sorry I just can't do the humane way

thats what im scared of too. when i sqwooshed my one earlier. i put 5 massive cookery books on top of it just incase it wasnt dead, its still there now under them as im too scared to move the books lol

hahah aww bless...no the safest option is deffo put a glass over it, but quickly lol, then slip the paper underneath...that way you know you get rid of it...no good if they are in the bath washing them down either as they bloody come back out!!! eurgh its makin me shudder even thinking bout it x

yeah my mum told me that the other day that they come out! eurgghh lol
I hate the legs too, there so long and gross.

I remember a few incodents when I was little, i had a bath got in, and there was a massive one floating next to me!
Then once at my dads i sat down on the sofa and there was one sitting next to me, iv neevr jumped out of a bath and of a sofa so quick! lol
